My mum booked a trip for us as a 30th birthday surprise. When we arrived at the booked time the boat was locked and no one to be seen. We tried contacting the number numerous times, there was no answer. No responses to the WhatsApp messages that were sent despite being “online”. We stood and waited in the cold for a good half an hour before leaving. We eventually got a message back a couple of hours later with an excuse, and saying that she thought it was booked for next Friday, despite the booking text saying Friday 24th November. This was definitely not the 30th birthday I was expecting for all the wrong reasons. Very disappointed. Was so upset I’ve been in tears all evening over this.

Do not book this deal, stay well clear!! I booked this as a Christmas present for my parents, was delayed due to covid. Went today, wish they hadn't....Dirty, filthy boat, porta potty camping toilet which was filthy, hand basin was disgusting, and as for the cream tea......this was served in a box, with 3 triangle sandwiches pp a pack of M&S crisps, Morriston sausage roll and scone. The cups had massive cracks right down them and dirty, it has me annoyed to think I bought this as a gift, I will certainly be taking this up with Groupon, the deal should of been on the 'Moonraker boat NOT 'Olivers' boat which we was put on.

Where to start the boat is in need of an major overhaul and repair
From the moment we got on untill we got of all we could smell is diesel
Now for the cream teas we got a shop bought a plain scone with synthetic cream on then oh yes and a single strawberry on the side of the plate
The tea and coffee with uht milk
what we got was not and never will be a cream tea
The owners need to look up what you get with a cream tea as thats not it what you sell
i will not or ever recommend this to anyone to waste there money
It only got one star as i couldn't leave minus stars
Captain Chrissy took a tip of the boat handler that was given to him from one of the other couples on the boat so dont not be seen given the boat handler a tip as captain Chrissy will steal this of the boat handler
Her words was my boat my diesel yes that maybe so but you charge your customers to cover the cost of all this
Captain Chrissy you are a theif from your staff as well as from your customers

Today was our second trip out on this wonderful little barge. Both our trips have been absolutely brilliant and very enjoyable.
Christine is so kind and nothing is too much trouble.
Our first booking had to be altered due to illness and Chris was so obliging about this. Then today we were a little late arriving and again she was so wonderfully understanding.
The afternoon tea was great and my elderly parents, sister and I loved the novelty of eating whilst watching the swans and people go by, and enjoying our short cruise just on our own, which made the whole experience extra special.
Today’s trip with my grandson and cousins was equally special and we loved every minute of it (including the duck impressions! 😂😂)
Thank you so very much Christine and Co.
We’ll most definitely be back soon.

Brilliant trip friendly staff on the boat and in the Caffè where you pay for you trip. To make this even better whilst i was on the trip on the horizon over looking me was linclon cathedral. In the ticket price as well was a lovely cream tea and after I had had my tea I had the opertunatu to ride at the back next to the driver and enjoy watching the birds flying over the water.

My wife and 2 kids went on this quirky little boat. We loved it, food was good enough for the price. Trip was nice and smooth. Lady at the helm was helpfull, cheerful and chatty. Price was £22 for 1tea 1 coffee 2kids drinks. Chips, sausage rolls, sandwiches and crisps.
3 scones with jam and cream. And a chug chug on the boat for 3/4 hour.
Charged us £20.00 as she didn't have change for £30. Well worth it and will return next year for a similar experience.

What a lovely morning. The price is unbelievable for what you get. Chrissy is a wonderful captain who went above and beyond and kept my children engaged in conversation and I can’t wait to support her business more
