Beautiful town holding a lot of history and this is a place where you can have all under one roof. This place holding history containing from 15th century. Fishing, boats, smuggling, prison cells and many more stuff on display. Entry is just £3 and nice staff. Very informative tour.

A small museum but packed with history and well worth a visit. Children were made to feel very welcome: amazingly they are free and adults only £3. My younger child enjoyed finding the clues around the museum and the older ones enjoyed trying to work out if the house maid was guilty. The 2 men at the desk were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable, we found out alot about the railway that was fascinating as we'd travelled in that way. Thank you.
