What a great couple of hours we had in here. Two grandchildren enjoyed dressing up as scientists, looking at all the displays and generally getting into the wonderful centre. We had lunch in their cafe. Good value for money served by some lovely staff. Also, I must mention how the staff looked after our children with their kind words and general lovely attitude.

Called in for coffee after visiting the castle. Ended up having a delicious lunch! Simple menu, but simple is excellent when done well. Delish soup and probably one of the best bacon rolls ever. Panini’s went down a treat by other members of the group. Service was quick and friendly- thank you to the lovely ladies in the cafe. Had a Quick Look at the exhibition afterwards - really informative and child friendly

After a visit to the castle came across this wee gem of a cafe, simple menu but hearty portions, had the tuna sandwich with side salad, cheesecake and a coffee all for under £11! Staff were lovely and the visitor centre is great for kids. Totally recommend ⭐
