Only recently started using Oakwell.
Used 3 times and every time I've booked they have arrived on time. Drivers were all very helpful, including on one occasion when we had to wait around for someone to arrive.

Very reliable booking through the app. Drivers are courteous and friendly. Very rarely are there any issues. Would always use Oakwell and Rex have only ever used another service when Ramadan is being celebrated.

Have used Oakwell for a long time, always been great but today's help and service couldn't be any better! Can't thank the operator & lady taxi driver enough for helping us during what was a very stressful time today! Both went above & beyond and really went out of their way to help when we needed a taxi to take us and our very sick dog home from the vets after having a life saving operation. Without this we would have been stranded a long way away from home. Cannot express how truly grateful we as a family are! Oakwell, operator & driver thank you so so much! Brilliant, you are both a credit to the company! Thank you 😊

Really dissapointed with the service this firm provides. I have been a loyal customer for years and have booked taxis for my son when I cannot do the school run. They have arrived late a few times, which has resulted in him getting a late mark for school and I have overseen it. I always use the app and book the day before. He has now commenced school examinations and attendance is thoroughly monitored and he is penalised if late. The taxi arrived for pick up TWENTY minutes late which has resulted him being late and is unacceptable.

I love the automatic booking service, just press a few buttons on your keypad and your taxi is booked. The car arrived quickly, and the driver was a pleasant and friendly young man who took me straight to my destination by the fastest route. I am very impressed with the service I received.

My sister tried to book an accessible taxi for our mum 3 days before we needed it but they wouldn't take the advanced booking then when she did manage to book it we booked for 3pm, at 3.20pm still no taxi so contacted them again to be told they'd had no drivers and a driver had just arrived, now saying the taxi would be 30mins to get to us, 4pm still no taxi, rang again to be told the taxi should be arriving in another 17mins. Totally unacceptable for our wheelchair bound mother. Really disappointing

Customer service is very poor and they rip you off your money. They Oakwell taxi’s has very rude drivers and they don’t even communicate in English properly. The customer service is terrible. A Very useless company and despicable company I must say!!

My Taxi was very much on time for the Journey down to Blackburn Road. The driver was a pleasant man, we had a good chat and I was bang on time for my appointment. The return journey too was pretty much the same, on time with the pick up. I think the cost :£6.50 × 2 = £13.was quite high for a pensioner.
Disabled with Arthritis plus AMD.
I do have a clinic Birkenshaw, but 9 times out of 10, the Doctor works more at Blackburn Road, which means I have to get there by bus
( The bus time tables are not reliable enough for me to trust them) they seem to miss more than being on time, leaving people high and dry but they do happen to be free of charge for the elderly to use
