Lovely quite and peaceful. Was offered scone with jam and tea when we arrived. A nice touch to start the break. Very clean with super large comfortable bed. Catered for my dairy free diet. Breakfast was very good with homemade jams.Nothing was too much trouble. After breakfast we walked around the 10 acres of grounds. Birdwatchers paradise. Would definitely return.

We had just one night at Nutsford house but would have happily stayed for several. A beautiful location with amazing gardens and birds. Amanda and James were the perfect hosts and helped us with our bespoke arrival and leaving requests, and an amazing breakfast to fuel our all day hike. Highly recommend a stay here. C and p

We spent three nights at Nutsford House and enjoyed the most relaxing stay. The house has a really homely feel and you can see that so much effort is put into making guests feel at ease.
Bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, the use of the library for an evening in was very welcome.
Breakfast was fabulous, a good start for a walking day out.
Amanda and James are excellent hosts.

This is an enchanting place, surrounded by its own woodland and lovely gardens - all the slopes were studded with primroses and goldfinches were thronging the feeders. Handsomely decorated and very comfortable; Amanda and James are helpful and kind hosts, directing me to local medical resources when needed. And the breakfast included a most unusual and delicate omelette with ingredients which are best kept a surprise for visitors! Dulverton an interesting small town, with an excellent bookshop, and splendid small bar/restaurant, Woods. Enjoyed ourselves enormously.

A really enjoyable short stay. James and Amanda were very friendly and welcoming. It was lovely to watch the wide variety of woodland birds visiting the bird feeders whilst enjoying a tasty breakfast. Despite the cold weather we had a nice, warm room but missed having a wardrobe for clothes hanging. We enjoyed having a large, well equipped bathroom. Well positioned for exploring Exmoor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Nutsford House. The house itself is wonderful and set in a stunning, expansive garden. The hosts, James and Amanda, were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent location for walking on Exmoor and exploring the local villages.

Just spent the night at Nutsford B&B - was so lovely! The house is gorgeous and our room was really comfortable and cosy. The bed and pillows were super comfy and everything was spotless. Loved the view of all the autumn coloured trees from our window. Amanda was really welcoming and cooked the most delicious breakfast. Will def be returning!
