Number One Bruton makes a 4 night stay effortless. The staff who run the reception change daily and are all warm and have a genuine interest in your plans for that day. I stayed in Cottage One and it was perfect. Super quiet looking on to the beautifully planted courtyard. The rainfall shower was powerful and hot instantly. The bedlinen beautifully soft. The welcome package of homemade shortbread, local cheese, with crackers and chutney divine. The breakfast was simple yet delicious again looked after by attentive staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. It was glorious and hit the right ambience in every way.

Beautiful townhouse hotel with lots of character in the middle of Bruton. We stayed in a cottage room which was quiet and spacious with lovely touches such as complimentary local drinks and snacks and high quality bed linen. The bathroom was particularly luxurious with both a bathtub and walk in shower, plus underfloor heating. The breakfast is a simple but very high quality buffet with soft boiled eggs, ham and fresh pastries - even after 3 nights we looked forward to it. We travelled with a 6 month baby and found the service very family friendly. We recommend making the most of the free day pass to the Newt, a nearby hotel and estate with beautiful gardens.

First stay and visit to No1 and it certainly won't be our last! Cool, Quirky, luxury, comfort is in abundance here.. Fantastic room (Cottage 3) with everything we needed for a 3 night stay...Exceptionally comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and great bath! Really appreciated the log burner (Which was restocked every day!) Dog friendly with the offer of dog sitting and fabulous breakfast! We have no complaints and would happily recommend! Well done all at No1! FAB!

What a lovely hotel in a great location. Comfy pretty room with all needs catered for including a great breakfast. Above all, the hotel team are so friendly and genuinely interested in their guests, to make their stay memorable.

Gorgeous stay!!!! We had a really memorable time at No.1 Bruton last week. The owners, Aled and Claudia immediately made us feel at home. We stayed in No.1 Townhouse, the bed was really comfy and such a spacious room. Wonderful added touches like local cheese and cider in the room. Great location in the heart of Bruton. would 10/10 recommend for a getaway.

From the friendliness of the staff to the gorgeous rooms this is an experience my wife and I want to repeat again and again.|The Briar restaurant attached to the hotel also has a great selection of tasty food that made for a lovely Saturday evening.|Well done to all the staff for such a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Excellent bedroom . Lovely warm cosy and comfortable, with all the complimentary amenities . |Attentive service .|Unfortunately the restaurant was not up to standard service wise. We would return to the hotel but choose a separate local restaurant. There is plenty of choice in the area.
