My husband and I were in Wales for the first time and were lucky enough to have Peter as our driver and guide for two days. Peter has a great knowledge of the history in this area, showing us not only the famous sites but also many hidden gems. Chris provided my three children (12, 14, 16) and I transfer and guided tour from Manchester to Anglesey as well as our return trip (2 separate days). North Wales Guided Tours was fantastic from the responsiveness and communication in planning the tour ahead of time, and Chris himself was a phenomenal source of history and a fountain of knowledge. From countryside, to castles, to Snowdonia, and also providing some basic Welsh language lessons for me and my family, we could not have been happier with the experience! Chris was also very adaptable and knew how to change the order of certain things or pivot to something else depending on the weather that fit the interests of our group so we were always engaged. Could not recommend this experience more and give North Wales Guided Tours top marks! Thank you for the lifelong memories!

Chris led my wife and I on a full-day guided tour of North Wales with stops at 5 different sites including 4 castles. Our day was meticulously planned by Chris to maximize our time visiting the sites we selected while our driving time was filled with Chris pointing out other interesting sites and sharing with us Wales' history, culture and language. In mid-October we completed a wonderful 9 day bespoke tour of Wales with Chris Millward-Hopkins. We decided we'd best not try to drive ourselves on the narrow roads of the Welsh backcountry, so we asked Chris to design a private tour for us and gave him a list of places we'd like to visit, based on our research, and invited him to suggest additional sites based on his considerable knowledge of the country, both north and south. We made our own hotel reservations persuant to his recommendations. He picked us up every morning between 9:00/9:30am and ususally had us back at our hotel between 5:30/6:00pm. His driving and guiding were excellent, and we visited a vast array of castles, archaeoligical sites, pilgrimage churches, and beautiful mountains and beaches. Our days were full, and we can honestly say we saw everything we had hoped to see. Chris even picked us up in Oxford, England, at the beginning of our tour and left us at our hotel in London. We highly recommend his services!

We visited North Wales on September 5, 2024 on a cruise with the Regal Princess. I arranged a private tour for our group of 5 people, our Tour guide Peter arrived on time for our tour. We had a Fabulous time with Peter he explained all about the history of Wales. He took us to the most beautiful and quaint town where we walked around and enjoyed the scenery. he also treated us to delicious treats made locally. Peter is a Fantastic guide. Chris was my contact at chauffer North Wales and I would recommend this company he did a great job and kept me informed every step of the way.
