Fantastic 4 night/5 day canoe trip on the River Spey. Tom and Peter run an incredibly professional but also incredibly friendly trip, the organisation is excellent, the food as good as you would get in a restaurant, and the evening around the campfire are great fun. Highly recommended, will be booking again.

The weekend trip along the Tay between Pitlochry and Perth was amazing! Tom and Ingrid were brilliant guides, chefs and company. Nothing was too much trouble.
Felt totally safe at all times but still had so much fun.. As someone who hadn't done any canoeing for a few years it was a brilliant trip to get back into it, the beautiful weather enhanced some of the wonderful scenery we passed by.

100% recommend to anyone wanting to explore Scotland from a different aspect.

Fantastic afternoon! Went with my family of 6 with the youngest being a bit nervous at times, but she nailed it! Tom was brilliant and very experienced. Everyone who wants an adventure should do this. And it is one of the best ways to experience the Lake District in all its glory.

Just completed an amazing 5-day trip canoeing down the Spey from Loch Insh to Spey Bay with five pals guided by Tom and Pete from North Star Adventure. From the outset Tom and Pete were fantastic; the guidance and instruction they gave us on the water equipped us with the skills we needed to tackle the river and keep us safe, and the amazing cooking and hospitality at camp meant our evenings were the perfect downtime after paddling. Their knowledge of the river was superb, guiding us through the rapids and making us aware of upcoming hazards and how to deal with them. I would absolutely recommend the Spey trip with North Star Adventure to anyone who fancies a multi-day canoe trip that is both challenging and great fun. Thanks again to the guys for taking us out – we loved it, and are looking forward to booking another trip in the future.

We booked the dusk kayak to see off a day of hiking and swimming and had a great time.

It was a very relaxing experience out on Ullswater. Tom was an interesting guide with many a story. Was well worth the low price and we'll be looking to book another adventure when possible, probably the esk gorge trip.

Amazing trip with Tom & Bruce! Both guys were incredible, the kayaking was great and even the freezing cold cliff jump at the end was well received even if only 3 of us did it! Would highly recommend these guys to anyone in the area

He took time to work with me and create a day that was suitable for a large group of 20. Very knowledgable guy and took the time to make the day so special and one we will always remember.
