Lovely day out with nice chalk cliffs. Nice scenery and birds. Semi quiet but can be rather busy. The beach area is relatively small but still enjoyable. Massive pay and display car park which was really cheap. Cute shop and cafe but didn't go inside.

Beautiful picturesque little beach. Dog friendly and a great place for them to have a swim!
Steep ramp and steps down to the beach. There was a little shop next to the beach itself looked like it sold buckets and spades/beach accessories and then a cafe and a ice cream van at the top- handy if you were wanting a bite to eat.

Was a lovely place to kill a couple of hours in the sunshine for myself and the dogs.

There was a paid car park or about 20 minute walk from the haven site.

A fantastic beach that wouldn't look out of place in the Mediterranean. We went on the short boat ride to Thornwick bay. We've done this a few times and I enjoy it every time. The sea was turquoise in places. We saw lots of different sea birds including puffins. Going into the cave in a boat is always a highlight.
If definitely recommend.

I recently embarked on a serene walk from Thornwick Bay to Flamborough North Landing, hoping to catch a breathtaking sunrise. While the clouds unfortunately obscured the sun, the journey itself was an unforgettable experience.

The walk was peaceful and solitary, as I didn't encounter a single person during my entire trek. The tranquility of the surroundings was both calming and invigorating. The coastal path offered stunning views, and despite getting thoroughly soaked by the elements, the experience was well worth it.

Flamborough North Landing itself is a picturesque spot, with its rugged cliffs and crashing waves. While I didn't witness the sunrise I had hoped for, the beauty of the landscape and the solitude of the moment made it a truly memorable experience

A beautiful cove accessed by a steep but not too long path down from the car park and cafe. The best but by far are the boat trips, 30 minutes up and down the coast to see the seabirds, maybe a seal, and definitely the smugglers cave. And all for the incredibly reasonable price of £8 for an adult. Definitely worth a visit and then a quick drive round to the RSPB reserve at Bempton cliffs. Search North Landing Boat trips and phone in advance to check the best time to avoid disappointment as sailing is dependent on the tides.

Didn't actually hit North Landing this trip. Walked from Flamborough to South Landing, to Flamborough Head and lighthouse and then back to town. Absolutely glorious!

We arrived by bus but there’s a decent sized car park if you want to drive, with a cafe, icecream etc available before you either head down to the beach or along the cliff top path towards Flamborough .
We headed along the path and saw so many birds, the waves against the shore line and boats out at sea…
The path is pretty good but muddy in places; you definite need to be sure footed and wearing appropriate footwear, particularly if you are heading down to sea level.
A very popular area for walkers, dog walkers and bird watchers.
PS Also very popular with school parties doing geography/ geology visits, so quiet sunbathing might not be possible.
