We recently had our boat blacked at Norbury. We chose them because they offered the option for liveaboards to stay on the boat while she was in the dry dock ( with electric and a solid gangway supplied)

Not only did they do a first class job on our boat they could not have been more helpful and friendly as a team. Nothing was too much trouble and they answered my endless questions about engines, gas, and stern stuffing boxes.

Besides the top notch work, and excellent team they have a well stocked and reasonably priced chandlery, as well as a fabulous cafe.

Not only that but the calm vibe of the location, its history, the nature, the boats all add to the experience

Thank you David, and all your team, they are a credit to you, themselves and to what you are building here.

I will definitely will be back and I urge you visit and see for yourself.

Such a brilliant day out for a special birthday treat with my dad brother and sister. The staff were very friendly and the barge trip was amazing. I would totally recommend any of the cruises they provide. We will definitely go again.

Stayed over in our motorhome. Fantastic place. £15 for the night with electricity, water etc. Really helpful staff, will be back.

Best experience ever! From initial enquiry through to booking and then all the information we were given by Nicky, it was a brilliant service!
A big shout out to my namesake Philip Morris for a fab induction, really made us at ease.
So relaxing with stops at pubs on the canal which made the experience complete.

The location has limited capacity for camper vans (3 with EHU, possibly a few more without). Staff very friendly and helpful. Basic but clean toilets available 24H. Showers maintained by Canal and River Trust also available on opposite bank of the canal. Showers are dated and a bit shabby, but will still get you clean. Cafe on site, LPG bottles available, black and grey waste disposal and bins available. Cafe is licenced, also pub on the opposite bank. Slightly industrial site, could be noisy during working hours and might be unsuitable for small children. Surroundings are tranquil and rural. All in all, great value for money and pleasant staff and environment with adequate facilities

Great day out and wonderful 75 minutes boat trip in River Severn. Very scenic view and calm atmosphere. Cream Tea and cakes was very nice and delicious. Great service, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

NORBURY WHARF "DRY DOCK " 26th TO 30th of MAY 2021:

We chose Norbury Wharf Dry Dock to black our narrowboat as there was a slot available and being liveaboards and continuous cruisers, they allowed us to remain on our narrowboat with free shoreline electric hook up during this work being done to our narrowboat....

We are doing this review primarily for the reasons mentioned on here:

- JIM, you are an absolute professional, friendly and dedicated to all that you do and did for us whilst we were having our narrowboat blacked! We trusted you and you delivered in every aspect and more.

A PERFECT SCORE 10/10

- PETER, you took on the last blacking and a few bits as Jim wasn't in on that day and you did a great job too. A PERFECT SCORE 10/10

- OWEN, your happy, friendly, always smiling personality is infectious and you are an amazing young man. It was a pleasure to have met and got to know you.

- Yvonne, Joyce, and the staff at The Old Wharf Tea Room...thanks for always making us feel welcomed and always friendly and smiling. The drinks, food, and cakes etc were always fresh and delicious. You all do a great job there.

Finally, and not detracting from the above amazing people, we unfortunately should have listened to previous boaters' comments but having said this, our narrowboat is finally blacked which is the most important thing!

WE WOULDN'T OR WILL NOT RECOMMEND NORBURY WHARF LTD anymore or at any time...!!

Canal Festival held here during May Bank Holiday. Plenty of stalls and boats selling a mixture of goods. Wood carving, jewelery, coffee, donuts, excellent cheese and chutney was available to purchase. Many canal barges in attendance with the cafe and pub filled with visitors. Could have done with some litter bins adjacent to distant food/drink stalls and boats.
