Great spot to start a Pendle walk from, but you must be able to navigate in case the weather turns.
As a parking spot it’s getting a bit rough, so if you have a normal car I’d suggest using the car park half way up the hill from Sabden or down towards the Wells Springs.

Great views of Clitheroe and Sabden Village - with easy access to outdoor walks across the top of Pendle hill.
Great mountain biking routes from here.
There is a local Pub on the other side of the hill (Heading down to Clitheroe) though it’s not advised to walk on the road due to narrow lanes and busy traffic.
The parking areas could do will the holes filling in and making more accessible for vehicles and visitors. But all in all great views day and night with clear skies with low light pollution.

Superb parking spot overlooking some amazing views. If you are a walker then there are plenty of places to wear your heels out. Watch out for sheep though.

Absolutely lovely place to just sit and ponder, luckily I live nearby so I can just take off and spend an hour here. Also used by a lot of fell walkers and cyclist, the Wellsprings bar is close-by for refreshments too.
