I came here for 'Wheels day' so all i can say is it's very large and you can fit alot of cars here! For that reason a great venue!
Unfortunately the hand dryers were out of order in the toilet block which could also do with an update.

Attended the showground for Wheels Day, a very large custom, American, classic car show. Easy to find, lots of parking, it served well for the show.

Nice venue for shows attened one last week and was great for dogs
The venue showers need to be upgraded as not ideal, but water is hot and overall clean.
The only thing is you can have bbq's. For a show in the middle of summer, let's it down in my opinion...

Went to Retro Fest at the showground, which features wings, wheels, speed, steam, music, dance and bands. Parking was very organised, there was free parking in a field on one side of the road, and paid for parking on the showground grounds. Getting to the main event was over long grass which could be challenging for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Once in the venue there were pavements, but inside the tents was grass so again could hamper those in wheelchairs. There was so much to see, from boot fair stalls, vintage and second hand stalls and food, drink, jewellery, new clothes venders and more, to classic cars, steam engines, fairground, live bands and motorbikes. There was due to be hot air balloons but unfortunately the weather didn't allow, but was an excellent day out. You can visit for the day, day and evening, or all weekend, you could camp and park campervans there. We stayed for the day and was really enjoyable, will definitely put it in my diary for next year!

Decent show 21/22 Sept but £25 to get in to be bombarded by salespersons seems excessive . Poor signage and long walk for disabled parking. More loos required and less food outlets they take up a lot of space you have to walk round to get to the main /side and outlying arena areas . Seems more like a show for someone's pocket rather than a community event. Probably won't unless cheaper go next year .
