I've been coming to this site for 40 years, since being a child. The site is one if not the best around.
The site has a real community atmosphere, everyone is friendly.
There are also some great events throughout the year, the annual sports day being just one off them, this is an old fashioned traditional sports day for the kids, a great day for everyone!

We travel 210 miles to this wonderful well kept site, beautifully laid out, with the opportunity to make your plot as charming as you wish. So unique in caravan ownership. With this great site, comes a wonderful outdoor swimming pool now just opened for the season. The owner, and his team, keep the pool in immaculate condition and suitably heated. Each day it is used by my better half, a keen swimmer, who thinks this swimming pool is fabulous and by 9am most days, she enjoys this wonderfull experience, whatever the weather.

My Husbands family’s have had caravans on here for over 40 years so generations have grown up on this site.Its always kept immaculate,the bar on Site is very welcoming and friendly and the tearooms food and cake are to die for.There is an immaculate open air heated pool that I take full advantage of every morning then hot shower in the shower block next to the pool.Overall my favourite thing about the site is the events on the field in the bar and days out together and everyone is welcome and very friendly this is truly are happy place😁

Had a walk round the site thinking of buying a van but the site looks a bit run down.Signs faded and a few walls need rebuildingHave seen a lot better sites for the same site fee. as they look like the have been collapsed for years Pool could do with a clean and a few of the plots look like the need a good clean up .

Excellent Static Caravan park, which is in close proximity to Yorkshire Dale's and Lake District. The site has good walks nearby and is located alongside the canal, which is also good for local walking.
The site owners are good and allow each pitch to do their own gardening.
There are a bar and cafe, both being very good with reasonable prices.
