Nelson Travel was excellent from start to finish. They put together the most fantastic itinerary for our honeymoon around Tanzania, guiding us throughout the planning process and ensuring each stop offered something different. All the travel was seamless and the two lodges and island we stayed at were better than anything we could have hoped for. There were a few minor issues with the island which Ben Nelson followed up on immediately after and it all ended very satisfactorily. A wonderful experience and we will certainly be using Nelson Travel again.

What a wonderful tailor-made self-drive Namibian safari holiday you so expertly gave us. Perfect itinerary with no hitches. One of the best experiences of our lives. The places we stayed, the animals we saw and the landscapes were all beyond our expectations. Now we just have to go through the thousands of photographs we took and try to delete most of them but it’s going to be difficult ……

Nelson Travel organised us the most amazing honeymoon. We had very little knowledge of where best to go and stay, but they took care of everything. Their partners in Africa meant that we got total luxury everywhere we went.

The places we stayed were all equally stunning, and really made it the trip of a lifetime. The camps were all completely wild, but blended with refined luxury as well just as we had hoped for.

The trip went absolutely as well as we could possibly have hoped, and this was largely down to the hard work and dedication of the Nelson Travel team. If we could give them 6 stars we would. Thank you to all the team for such an incredible experience.

Kenya Safari and Indian Ocean. Ben Nelson organised a superb two week holiday for us in September/October 2024. All the arrangements fell into place as booked, both the safari camps at Sosian and Off Beat Ndoto were excellent with superb service and attention to our interests. All the staff we met were very friendly and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. The personal guides were charming and experts. Manda Bay on the coast was simply understated luxury with superb food.

All the internal travel arrangements including numerous local flights and connections ran to the expected timetable and we were met by helpful and friendly drivers everywhere.

Ben interpreted our particular wishes brilliantly and even managed a smooth alteration of our itinerary which we requested at short notice.

We will ask Ben to arrange more holidays in the future and highly recommend his services.

We couldn't have had a better experience with Nelson Travel! They helped us to book our dream honeymoon to Botswana and Mozambique and it was perfect from start to finish. They were very knowledgeable, professional, organised and totally took the stress out of the planning, which was needed when we were planning our wedding at the same time! A trip we'll remember forever, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Having not known where to start in planning our honeymoon to Africa - I'm so glad I found Ben & Nelson travel!
Our trip to Botswana & Mozambique ran like clockwork. We really didn't have to think about anything other than having a good time. Transfers/Hotels/Flights all prompt & well organised. Any of our questions were answered in our private WhatsApp group they made for us. Will be using for our next African adventure & would 100% recommend for a bespoke trip.

The experience I had with Nelson Travel was once in a lifetime. I had always wanted to go on Safari, and Nelson Travel turned that dream into a reality. The accommodation booked was top notch. Absolutely beautiful panoramas, food, and service at each place we stayed. Our guides were all top notch... highly knowledgable and happy to work for their companies. I was fortunate enough to see all the animals I wanted to see and even some I didn't expect to. We were smiling from ear to ear the entire time. There was an appreciation for the continent and wildlife that ran through every aspect of the trip. Nelson Travel offsets their carbon footprint through a wonderful social enterprise focused on deforestation in Malawi. They were also easy to reach and accommodating to any last minute changes or questions that we had. I would highly recommend Nelson Travel for any future vacation. 11/10 Amazing!
