I can't say enough positive about Native Glasgow hotel! My husband and I stayed there for 4 days after walking the West Highland Way so that we could explore Glasgow. The front-desk staff were very welcoming and very helpful, for example one fellow hand-writing a list of restaurants and pubs of particular types when we inquired for some ideas. To me they reflected the friendly spirit of the city. The hotel provides complementary bottles of milk, packages of ground coffee for brewing, and tea (also sweetener etc) so you don't have to purchase those. The kitchenette is well equipped and we found it in top-notch condition as was the whole spacious room. I love the structure of the rooms and hallways: leading to each small set of rooms there are small ante-rooms off the main hallway that I'm sure help to enhance the quiet and privacy. The rooms have A/C which was welcome in the surprising heat of this past month. Everything is spotless; the furniture in the suite all seemed new and of very high quality, and the bed excellently firm and comfy. Along with all this, the location is amazing. Right across the street is a frequent bus stop for the airport. I would go back here in a heartbeat and recommend it thoroughly!

Wanted to give 5 stars. Perfect central location and neighborhood. New hotel. Generous rooms. Helpful and responsive desk staff.||The entry and stairwells (first impressions) don't appeal to my aesthetic. The rooms don’t have luggage racks so there is no place for luggage except the floor. I used the sofa for a large backpack and the eating table for open luggage. However, would return and recommend to friends.

We loved our stay at the Native in the penthouse. The balcony overlooking the city made it especially wonderful. Great location, interesting building history. It was lovely to have the space to move around, relax, cook. Only two small complaints: It's a shame to have the tv in front of the window blocking the view. We rotated it a bit which made it a little better. If you can relocate it to the corner it would be so much better. Other frustration: you can't open the fridge when the door to the living room/kitchen is open. A design flaw which I guess can't be altered. But something to keep in mind for future projects. But all in all, we really loved the place. And kudos to the very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was exceptional in terms of cleanliness, style, and a welcoming feel!
We were greeted at check-in by Joseph and he made us feel at home with his friendly nature, helpfulness, and going above and beyond in every regard. Joseph really made our stay wonderful so kudos to him! He helped us find a restaurant, understand parking and getting a car the next day. He was wonderful.

The one bedroom apartment we were in was extremely well appointed, clean and private. It was stylishly appointed with thoughtful amenities. The room was spacious and clean and very private.

We had a great stay….But with all that Joseph made all the difference…cheerfully providing us with information, following up and always there to assist!

I really enjoyed my stay at Native Glasgow and felt welcomed by the staff.
The location is perfect: close to shops and great pubs and restaurants, very close to Glasgow Queen Street. You would expect the flat to be noisy but not at all, thanks to the insulated windows. I slept really well.
The apartment was squeaky clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped.
I didn’t need it but there is a washing-machine.
I will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay for so many reasons!
First, the location is central to Queen Street train station and St. George's square. Queen Street station is a hub for connecting to inner city and other city locations.
Second, the room was so beautiful, quiet, and comfortable! We loved that we could cook in the room and there was even a small dishwasher. There is recycling AND composting available in the room. Yes, I said composting! The shower and bathroom are spacious and perfect. In short it was just the best and so delightful.
Lastly, did I mention the staff were also so kind, funny, helpful, and entertaining? The restaurant recommendations they gave us were affordable, delicious, and nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay! When we return, there is no need to look elsewhere, especially as St. George's Square continues to transform into a green space.

It’s well located and the rooms are beautiful. But the promise of air conditioning is a lie - they knew it was not working and didn’t even announce on check in. The bathroom sink didn’t drain properly either so there was a constant pileup. There was no hot water. Expected cold showers. The windows are hard to open unless you have a taller stronger partner with you. Depending on where you are coming from all of this maybe quite uncomfortable. Best to stick to chain hotels regardless of your love for charming and local. We stayed for a day and had no chance to make a change. The hotel was full so there no substitutes for us. They luckily had a fan to give us which saved the night for us. Else keeping the window open means you would hear the late night street sounds.

Native Glasgow was PERFECT! We had the biggest apartment, was 2 rooms, and looked out onto the main street. Literally steps from everything. Spacious, like a small home! David, who worked at the front desk was the BEST! He answered all of our questions and took care of us so well. LOVED this place! Highly recommend!
