I just popped in to see if anyone could help me locate a fishing tackle shop. Being a Sunday I wasn't hopeful but Heather who was working at the Centre couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Heather - The Island Chain & Yacht Supplies shop was open and they had all that I needed!! So, from my part, if you're ever in St. David's, please visit the National Trust Visitor Centre - it's a lovely shop with great gifts (and members of staff) and if you're looking for fishing tackle in the area, The Island Chain & Yacht Supplies outlet is the place to go. Extremely clean and well stocked with goodies (souvenirs, cards, gifts, maps, etc)

The shop is dog friendly which is a bonus and stocked with lots of dog supplies.

The staff are extremely kind, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.

I would recommend making a stop to ask any recommendations of places to visit in the area.

Nice and tidy,.well set out shop full of gifts, maps, cards and seasonal displays. It has a bright welcoming from everything on display and also the friendly staff who are willing to answer any questions and help out where they can. They offer recommendations for walks and local places to visit. The shop is average price for the gifts and all money goes to local National trust buildings and charity.
No toilets or cafe. No direct parking outside shop. But is parking in the town

Such a lovely shop, had a really wide variety of products, some I haven't seen in a National Trust shop before. The shop had a good stock level of everything they had, and the woman serving was so friendly and helpful. Well worth a look if you are passing.

Popped in here with my family last summer and what lovely polite staff. They really were attentive and kind to the children and listened to them all chatting on.
Makes all the difference when thinking about returning and spending money. On this visit we bought some books and the children were given some activity sheets and stickers that they really enjoyed
