We love this place. It's beautiful in every season. Great place for short and long walks. At the entrance you will find a cafe, a bookshop and a toilet. Must see when rhododendrons are in bloom. Look for a viewing tower then๐Ÿ˜‰

An amazing afternoon out.

With a Blue Badge, the parking was free. The main reason was going was the ability to use a Tramper* mobility scooter whilst out the trails. This was just as well, as my buggy - although quite large and rugged - wouldn't have been able to manage the course.

==========

* A Tramper is a very large mobility scooter that has suitably large wheels, huge batteries, and is basically a battery powered quad bike that's limited on charge.
Most people would love to have one, despite it being large and unable to collapse and further. The biggest stumbling block is the price, with them weighing in at around ยฃ7,500 for one in good condition - second hand!

The laid out course takes an > 90 mins with just enough time to take in the view points and such.

Having spoken to the ground staff, they advised that coming in May was a spectacle. There are hundreds - make that THOUSANDS of rhododendron bushes, some bushes being the size of double decker buses and larger.
To be able to enjoy this full special show, wee're now trying to sort ยฃ out dates for our May 2025 return break (we're self employed, so we need to give out clients 18 months notice)

Reasonable for a whole day ยฃ6.50 not far to walk to the cafe. Long, medium and short walks, would have been better if the distances were on the map as it was further than we thought and dogs were hot. Good job we had plenty of water with us.

Great place to park and visit National Trust Sheringham Park. Their is a coffeeshop, gift shop, historic displays and toilets.Dog friendly, with bins and hard paths through a forest and rhododendron grove, and around the estate. Repton designed landscape with beautiful views of the rolling hills, sea on the horizon, a windmill in the distance the punctuated by a steam train track which operates from Sheringham town. When we visited in late February early March the snowdrops were in bloom, and the rhododendrons and camellia as were showing their first buds. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful country park with the most outstanding display of rhododendrons I've ever seen. Lots of options for different walking abilities and wheelchair/pram accessible walks too. Toilets available, small cafe available.

Sadly no gift shop anymore, clean toilets, decent car park, lovely walks and views. Definitely a day out with the family, have been a few times now. Small take away cafe on site, scan your NT card for parking.

Some great walks, follow the red walking route to go over steam train line and enjoy a spot at the beach.
