Beautiful location, highly interactive museum in the manor. The cafe was nice, helpful staff. Really well preserved buildings, with all the original charm, especially in the gatehouse. We really enjoyed the child-friendly activities, and the orchard. One of the loveliest National Trust places I have visited.

Beautiful and interesting place, well worth the visit. The driveway is a very long lovely drive with passing places along the way. I came early and it was not busy. Me and my dog explored the grounds for hours- it's huge, there's so much to see with there being 3 different walks to choose from. Lovely lambs in the fields and the first signs of spring made it such an enjoyable visit. Dogs are not allowed in the house as expected but she was tired after our long treck so she slept in the car while I went inside. The house is so interesting with different rooms representing different decades and who had lived in there. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I spent four hours here, but I could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend a visit to this gem, it exceeded my expectations and has inspired me to research and visit more national trust sites.

My second visit here to this beautiful place. My favourite national trust treasure. So cleverly presented with different eras in each room. When you do the house frame build in the attic... just a heads-up...look for the carpenters markings.

We had an excellent day exploring the National Trust's Brockhampton Estate. The house itself is steeped in history (this year it's 600 years old), and the informative boards in each room brought the past to life. With each room roughly 100/200 years apart. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and there are plenty of trails to wander along. Lovely Easter trial for the younger members of our group. The cafe, which offers a selection of teas and cakes was lovely.

Brockhampton Hall is a stunning National Trust property that's well worth a visit if you're in the area. 1600 acres of stunning countryside form the grounds l. The building and estate are now a remarkable 600 years old ... There is a mile long private drive that acts as an entrance to the estate and thankfully it has passing places as it's a single track but the only way in and out so at times it can get a little tricky, so be sure to note the passing places as you enter and leave. There's a tearoom and facilities on site and the extensive grounds are so vast you could easily spend a whole day here .. The National Trust has done a great job with this estate and a visit is recommended.

We were exceptionally lucky with the weather, but our approach down the wendy windy road to valley bottom, through freshly lambed fields to the largest orchard in the National Trust truly was an amazing sight. Take it slow and enjoy the journey!

The House itself is very much like my left eye. It is old. And it is wonky. And decidedly leans to one side. The 600 year old timber frame construction is quite simply amazing, and older than the colonies.

The national trust guides were so very helpful, and knowledgeable, and approachable.

There are some additional walks around the orchards, the grounds, and the woods. The woodland hike is quite beautiful in spring, but owing to some transdimensional rift, we walked uphill all the way there and uphill all the way back. Pay attention to the signposts on the walks, they lead the way. We didn't and ended up walking the circuit twice.

This time, I was allowed an ice cream, and would very much recommend the Granary for quick snacks, but take a picnic, find one of the numerous benches and enjoy the views.

Just do not use the gravity drop toilet near the forest lake.

Wonderful walking here for everyone! Many longer routes, some on a slope, but with stone paths so easy for most, whatever the weather! Also, brilliant child-friendly outdoor activities. We did them with the dog instead!

14th century Manor House is set in beautiful grounds. 4 really fantastic walks to suit ALL abilities. It's great for a picnic with lots of spots out of the way, and kids will love it. Don't be fooled by the size of the house it's a tardis!
