Amazing place to visit. Perfect for all ages. The planetarium show was absolutely brilliant. We were able to watch not long after entry and then off the explore. There is so much to see and all easy to navigate around. Was very busy but a Saturday with an event on we expected as much. Great that you can return again for free. Highly recommend 🚀

Fabulous and interesting day out. Lots of school parties but we liked to see how much fun the kids were having. We went up the tower, I walked as vertigo makes me not a fan of glass lifts. Very interesting historical displays showing the development of space travel. The Planetarium was spectacular. If you suffer from motion sickness it may be as well to ask which show is less like a theme park ride. Amazing images and animations, show lasted 25 mins and the school’s had their own separate shows. Maybe ask how many schools are expected as we were there on one of their busiest school day’s just before half term. Our ticket was converted to an annual pass so we can go back. You still have to pay for the Planetarium but I believe it is a reduced price, the website will tell you. The cafe sold nice salads and sandwiches and basic hot food so we ate there. Well stocked shop with expensive and cheaper things to buy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

A lot to see on a single visit, better to upgrade to an annual pass for free and mid week, expect a lot of schools. I could barely move. I went for the night sky show and I didn't know what do expect. It was alright. A lot of reading about planets and space and people in space. I just wish there was more about animals in space, I don't think there was enough about them. Beware of a good amount of steps going in the rocket building. I like how the two you a lot of interesting things like how they use toilet on the space station. And things that they took to space and how they sleep on the station. Definitely a good place even if you are not super into space things.

It's an amazing place full of good science stuff for the whole family. We visited this place 15 years ago when our children were young, and now they've grown up and the National Space Centre has changed so much but still very much relevant and interesting. Thank you for looking after this fantastic place. The highlight of the visit were: the planetarium (we were watching "The Solar System"), the space toilet and the expanding universe. Oh and the recipe for life and the Mars rover. The piece of rock from the moon and from Mars are cool. Don't forget to visit the 4 floors of the "tower", right above the canteen.

Amazing day out! Definitely worth visiting. Lots to see and do for the kids & plenty for the adults. Nice cafe and the prices weren't to bad either. We arrived at 10am and left about 4pm so kept us entertained for the day. Huge carpark right outside and it only cost £4 for the whole day. Was quite busy but even then we only qued for 10 minutes for the show. Dont miss the trip to mars (might have the name wrong but ask staff and they'll direct you) its tucked away but very entertaining for the kids. We travelled 2.5 hours each way to get there and we weren't disappointed.

This place was awesome, I would have given it five stars, but there were about twenty different schools there on the day I visited. Far too many children running around being annoying, it would be good if they limited the school visits to two groups a day so as everyone can look around in peace, because there is so much information to read, it was hard with all the children. The cafe was nice, the toilets were spotless, the planetarium was the highlight, that was great, and it was easy to park (£4 all day). A good day out whether on your own, as a couple or the whole family.
