Great walk across the road from the car park then through the forest and down to join the West Highland Way. Return to Mugdock car park via Craigallion Loch, then the Khyber pass.

Great park for walkers and kids. Lots of different walks. Good parking and nice wee play area. It was pouring the day we went but had to leave earlier than we would have due to the children being hungry. The wee cafe was brilliant, good value quick service and good veggie options. HOWEVER, we had dogs and a pram, so we couldn't go inside. There was no cover outside, although there is a seating area. There is no area for packed lunches either outside or under cover for you to take your food. Great place on a dry day or for a couple of hours.

Visitor centre is nice stop of for shop,cafe and coffee shop.....oh and toilets.

Park is great for a wander...walk. two castles,one loch, one pond or is that two, a play area.....gawd will through in the fact that they have bbq area for hire and rangers events

Great place for quite a relaxing walk. There are plenty of well walked paths around ponds. Dogs mostly on leads. Visitors centre and play areas with picnic tables nearby to relax while watching our grandchildren play.Easy parking and Calders Garden Centre for a coffee stop.
