A very good company. I've been on 4 trips with them, and some of them have been out of this world. But, what really stands out, is that it genuinely seems to be a group of very good people. Their local guides and partners rave about them and their practices in terms of how they treat their partners, customers and the locations. I've also had two trips that have had some real challenges which they've navigated very gracefully. While on the first (6 years ago), I got a phone call from across the world that my dad had passed away, and MBA gave me a lift from the middle of nowhere in Norway to the airport and really helped me out in a number of other ways.

More recently, I ran into some quibbles on a new trip that hadn't had its kinks ironed out yet. I fed back to the team who took every single point with the utmost care, and addressed each and every single item that I raised fairly, constructively and appreciatively (shout out to Matt for this).

From what I've seen, five stars to MBA!

Recently returned from Slovakia, we walked the gorges around Sucha Bela with our excellent guides Thomas and Roman. The points I really enjoyed were the group who were super friendly, the friendly and knowledgeable guides and the fact that every thing was organised so all I had to do was get up and go on the mornings.
Roman really enjoyed playing real not real, feel free to ask him to explain the rules.

I had a horrible experience with MBA's Dolomites host, where the host told me the trip wasn't for me and she doesn't accept me on the the trip (her words exactly). This was after I reached out for support and guidance on the exposed section of the trip as I have a phobia of falling. When I gave feedback to MBA on this, MBA issued me with a credit note for the trip (per the T&Cs, the trip was non refundable within 30 days of travel but they were able to issue a CN due to the nature of my complaint) and they have paused 2024 trips to the Dolomites while they look in to this host. I'm surprised that something like this hasn't been raised previously as the trip has been running for a while, but regardless, I'm happy with the prompt action the MBA team have taken. Thank you MBA!

A very good range of trips fitting various price points. Customer service is great with speedy responses to most questions. Would definitely recommend these guys if you are looking to book a guided adventure trip.

Terrible experience and terrible company. Their cancellation policy is excessively inflexible. We booked onto the Lake District challenge that we were simply unable to attend as we couldn’t get there due to train strikes. We would have loved to reschedule and attend another time (the next slot had loads of availability!!), but muchbetteradventures was excessively inflexible and would not refund. They also would not refund if someone had tested positive for covid which is truly disgusting as it discourages people from isolating when they probably should. Would not recommend the Lake District challenge or this company to anyone and would not use muchbetteradventures ever again.

I had to cancel an adventure at short notice due to sudden ill health and this company bent over backwards to support me. They were responsive, courteous, respectful, and most of all they were understanding and loyal. Thank you MBA! You are awesome!

Epic experience, fully recommend! Easy to book and great comms from the team. Craig was legit the best tour guide, full of smiles, advice, knowledge and experience which made the experience in Norway top notch.
