I recently had the pleasure of joining a bespoke bike tour led by the incredible guide, Mark, and I can’t recommend the experience enough! From start to finish, it was an absolute blast. Mark tailored the trip perfectly, offering a great mix of road biking, cross-country trails, and some exciting blue downhill tracks. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just looking for a fun challenge, Mark knows how to create a ride that suits all skill levels.

We stopped for a well-deserved lunch break at a local spot, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, giving us time to recharge before heading back onto the trails. Mark’s knowledge of the area, his attention to detail, and his friendly, easygoing nature made the whole experience even better.

Me and a friend joined Mark for the day, using a voucher we'd been bought for Christmas. After a chat a couple of days earlier, Mark picked out an incredible route for us that took in some tricky (for a beginner) climbs and some really exciting down hill sections. Mark paused before each section to talk us through what to expect and how best to approach in a safe and fun way. As a bonus, Mark was really knowledgeable about the local area and acted as an informal tour guide too. I'd recommend MTB&B to anyone looking to try Mountain Biking or have an experienced guide for the area.

Decided to go with this option rather than hiring and cycling off myself, and I would do it all over again if I could!!

Had the best day in the Peak District cycling on an e-MTB with Mark. Covered a lot of ground, steep ascents rewarded with the fun descents. Fantastic views!! Mark gave a quick but thorough lesson on the e-MTB in the store and then off we went for the day. Helmet was supplied for me. He decided on the route based on my experience level and what I wanted to get out of the day after a brief call the day before and a conversation before setting off. We stopped off at a cafe for a quick lunch halfway through the day.

Mark is super knowledgeable about the area and the history. I felt completely safe throughout, and Mark gauged my ability really well to still make it challenging and fun.

I will definitely be back (perhaps with some friends which would make it cheaper per person), but I would 100% recommend the one-on-one.

Amazing time around Hope Valley and surrounding areas! Mark was a wonderful tour guide and cycling coach. I highly recommend checking this place out, whether you are a beginner, or an expert- there is something for everyone. Best way to see the Peak District!

The best biking experience in the peaks without a doubt! Excellent knowledge and guidance for a group on a stag with a wide range of skills. Took the e-bikes out for the day and all had a blast! Mark was amazing and talked through each technical section so the novices could get round with ease and the advanced riders could advance their skills too. Super affordable will be sure making a return journey away from the group. Having the shop to rest and get changed in at the start and end was a great addition.

Highly, highly recommend to anyone of any skill set for hire, guides and bike shop needs!

Fantastic 1:1 guided bike ride with Mark in the Peak District. After a previous MTB related “trauma” I had lost my confidence but Mark was amazing and built up my confidence and skill over the course of the day, exceeding my expectations! The e-MTB was great - a good quality bike and well maintained and certainly made the climbs a lot easier!! I will certainly look to book again with Mark and Lucy.

Being new to MTB I contacted Mark asking for some coaching and booked a 1-2-1 day in, we went over the basics at the shop then headed out around win hill and ladybower, amazing days and got exactly what wanted which was to improve my confidence on the bike.

Marks a top guy and I’d highly recommend if you’re new to MTB or experienced.
