My 10 yr old Daughter visited for her school residential not so long ago. She said she'd like to leave a review, so here it is....
I had so much fun and enjoyed the activities. The rooms were nice, the food was nice and most importantly the staff were really lovely and friendly. So thanks guys for making my daughter's stay enjoyable and memorable 😊

We had a beautiful wedding last December at Mount Cook. The centre was very accommodating to our requests and they went above and beyond on our special day. Everything worked out perfectly. The venue, location, parking, rooms, and the Mount Cook staff were spot on. A special thank you to George, Lauren, Hannah, Madeline, and Linda. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a gorgeous wedding.

My daughter went on a school trip for her last year in primary school. She said the pods were amazing (even though her pod didn't lock and she was moved to the indoor rooms). The zip wire was incredible, and the view was super scenic, but the jolt at the end is something to look out for! Food was great, dairy free options were made for her and some other allergenic people. The staff were very kind and Catherine was her instructor! An amazing experience for her. Thank you very much!!!

Mount Cook came to my work place bringing along all equipment, activities and staff required, they were absolutely phenomenal! Great activities, great staff, super professional, fun and got everyone involved. The staff were relaxed and delivered a fantastic day. Thank you so much. Would definitely use, personally, and would definitely recommend. 💫

Just got back from a week there, staying in one of the pods. Weather was fantastic which made it more enjoyable. Food was great and plenty of it! Activities were brilliant (good for us, as we were a small group, so had more time on each activity rather than being in a larger group and maybe just getting to do something once) big shout out to the instructors who explained properly on how to do things and helped when things went wrong (like getting stuck 🤣) favourite activities hands down was the via ferrata and the scramble to black rock. Only thing is there is no electric points in the pods (there is usb charging ports though) but I suppose it's teaching the kids about going back to basics. Met some great people (gutted to say some which we will never see again 😢) Would I go back Absolutely

Diabetes UK Young Leader volunteers who work on the Together Type 1 youth programme for 11-25 year olds came together last week for their first weekend residential event at Mount Cook Adventure Centre! ||9 Young Leaders joined by 3 Diabetes UK staff and 2 diabetes health care professional volunteers embarked on a new adventure for Together Type 1 by attending a team residential! ||What an amazing weekend it was! - Our group of 16-25 year olds living with type 1 diabetes came together to challenge themselves whilst scaling new heights and working together to team build and get to know each other better. From our meals to the activities, to the setting and site facilities in in general, we would recommend Mount Cook to any group looking for a valuable weekend of fun! (For all ages)|| We took on high ropes, crate stacking, leap of faith, rock climbing and abseiling and enjoyed using the small hall space in the evening to host a 'type 1 chat' session and then watch strictly on the big screen & play uno! ||Huge shout out to all of the staff involved in making this weekend such a success, the feedback we have had so far from the young people that joined us has been only good! Thank you to Bernie, Molly, Lauren and Lynda for making this weekend so positive for us! ||We'll be back again for sure - all the best and thank you again, ||Diabetes UK Midlands and East Together Type 1 Team |

What a great place, brilliant, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make your stay brilliant. Booked the high rope and zip line activities and the instructors were so kind and helpful with my children encouraging my youngest to try the zip line and giving her the confidence to do it twice. Pods are as advertised and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Fantastic location and very peaceful. Never stayed in a pod before but will definitely be back (very soon)

Came here about 2 years ago with school and I had a great time with my friends. There are so many activities to choose from, the food was ok, and the rooms where a bit small but warm. My friend said that this was the best place in the UK. I would say it's a great place to stay but I would recommend booking a large room. (not shure if they have any) That's all from me and have a lovely day.
