Tom is such a fantastic guide and we all made some memories of a lifetime on his tour. Not only did he give us a great tour of some beautiful natural features on the way out of the bay through some great rock gulley's, as well as some fascinating historical insights, his ability to read the behaviour of the sea birds enabled us to witness an incredible natural spectacle which also helped produce a miraculous catch of fish which we enjoyed on the BBQ that evening! 😋🤩👍👏 The only thing missing from the feast were dolphins. We'll definitely be returning to do it again!

Treated my other half to a morning sea kayaking with Tom for his birthday and we had such a brilliant time! Tom planned an awesome trip right from the steps of our cottage to explore the river a bit, head over to Wembury and then out around the great mew stone. He was a brilliant guide - fun, chilled, confident and capable. We felt in very safe hands. Loads of local knowledge too.
Awesome day and will definitely be looking to repeat in the future. Highly recommend.

Tom is great professional, very knowledgeable, skillful and articulated. You learn through practice with him. I did a 2 hrs kayaking lesson with Tom, as a complete beginner, I was terrified once I was in the very wobbly kayake but Tom was great at calming my nerves and reassuring me. In less than an hour we were in deep waters kayaking to drakes Island. All gear provided which was great and training in shallow water was very helpful. Thank you Tom. I would love to do it again if I'm in Plymouth.

Simply a brilliant experience with Tom. His knowledge of kayaking, the water and the Plymouth area was second to none ! His attention to detail of safety was much appreciated because I was with my 15 yoa daughter. And also additional extras of sending us photos he took. Couldn’t fault the experience with Tom of Drake’s Island Kayak Tours. We’d happily book again !

Such a great experience on the kayaks today. This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Plymouth and it was made 100 times better with the guidance of Tom. He took us on a journey through history too and we all loved it! 🙂
