Morton in the Marsh excellent example of a cotswold market town.
There are plenty of excellent places to have a meal or just a coffee. Lots of places dog friendly. On road parking for 2 hours small carpark at back of shopping centre ( only about 15 spaces).

Only pass through this town on Tuesday, when the street market is on.
Not as good as it was once, but still worth a visit
The Town is Right in the middle of the Cotswolds, so makes all the best Village's and town's within easy reach by car or bus.
