My partner and I had a really nice time at the valentines chocolate event, the staff seemed really into it and they were very friendly. We wanted to try something a bit different and this popped up on Instagram I believe.

We enjoyed all of the chocolate samples, as well as the fun blind taste test. It was nice that the spaces were limited to 12 people, so it didn’t feel over crowded.

We purchased some chocs to take away, but we didn’t feel under pressure to do so.

All in all, we would definitely come to another event 🙂

Edit - we went to the Oxford Branch. It’s an hour from us, but it’s the nearest branch to us.

If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit to the pop up shop. Wednesday and Thursday 2-4pm. Factory shop style (mishapes, close to use by, wonky packaging), very reasonably priced. We were served by a very friendly member of the office staff. Great little de-tour.

Their Absolute Black with orange is a thing of beauty. The added milled cocoa nibs give it an extra crunch. Absolutely love it, bravo!

Getting a 100% cocoa chocolate right is a difficult task. Montezuma have managed it superbly.

Brilliant chocolate, no added sugar in their 100% bars, so low carb. Added bonus.

Sadly, we went in to the Chichester store, and asked if there was any chocolate tasting available, as there was last year. The woman said 'No because not all of our staff are double jabbed'.

What a mind boggling statement. How does chocolate tasting have ANYTHING to do with whether or not someone has been jabbed?

If the 'jab' works at all, surely it's utterly irrelevant who has or hasn't taken it.

This makes us think that behind closed doors, this bizarre woman is coercing her staff to get jabbed, and that I will not support. Will never be going in here again.

Hopefully she comes to her senses, and realises she's helping this draconian insanity stay around for longer.

Not good service. The packaging is beautiful but I ordered presents during lockdown for my mother living alone and a friend's birthday. Less than half of my order arrived with no explanation. When I chased, they simply said the person packaging it must have left them out and forgotten. They refunded me the missing items but only when I contacted them. Had to look elsewhere for gifts and spend further. For £4 delivery and being charged for items they didn't send, I was not impressed.

If u thinking about chocolate, real chocolate. This is best place. No palm oil, some organic bars and truffles, lots of selections. Highly recommended to chocolate lovers
