A great day out! We got to see many types of monkeys. Sadly many have been acquired by the centre as rescues from UK owners who don't look after them. This centre does great work to care for these animals and provide them with excellent living conditions.

Really great for a day out, lots of talks from the keepers which meant you could learn interesting facts about the animals. Seemed a really nice place as well with large enclosures for the animals- definitely recommend the visit!

My mission accomplished moment. I've wanted to visit never thinking I would. This was an excursion with my coach holiday. Conservation at its finest. The world leading rescue organisation, and it's right here in Dorset! Amazing variety of primates in great habitats. Easy to walk round with viewing stations placed round the enclosures. Reasonably priced cafe with good selection of foods. The inevitable gift shop. An absolute must for adults and families alike. The Tank Museum is also very near to visit.

Our recent visit to Monkey World was highly enjoyable. We were particularly impressed by the spacious and well-maintained habitats, especially the extensive enclosures for the chimpanzees, orangutans, and woolly monkeys, which allowed for excellent observation of their daily activities.
We did observe that the reflective glass used in some habitats presented a challenge to visibility, particularly on bright, sunny days when the exterior light significantly overpowered the interior. This glare effectively turned the glass into a mirror, hindering our ability to view the animals.
While we understand and appreciate that the animals' well-being is the primary concern, and this issue does not impact their care, it does affect the visitor experience. We respectfully suggest exploring potential solutions to mitigate this glare, such as the application of anti-glare film or a matte clear coating to the visitor-facing side of the glass.
Recognizing Monkey World's status as an ape rescue center with potentially limited resources, we understand that animal welfare takes precedence. We hope that this feedback may prompt consideration of cost-effective solutions, and perhaps inspire a partnership or donation from a company specializing in anti-glare technologies to enhance the visitor experience without compromising the center's mission.

Something nice for the children to enjoy but a little underwhelming for people who went in the 90s. There wasn't actually an awful lot of monkeys, lots of areas were also under construction, definitely didn't need a whole day. Play areas and facilities were actually really good, lots of toilets scattered around. Also plenty of options for vegans.

One of the members of staff who used to be on the monkey business show was pretty brash/rude when my sister in law approached to talk to him, which was disappointing. I understand it probably gets tiresome but it's your job.

A great place to spend time, but in good weather. We were lucky, the monkeys were outside and posed beautifully. Children and adults will like it. Very young children have places to play besides the joy of the monkeys themselves. The parking lot is large. Since we are local, the price was half as much. I recommend to visit.

Wonderful place. We particularly enjoyed the talks. All the people doing the talks were really informative and happy to answer any questions. Saw all the monkeys pretty close. Great large play areas for kids. All the staff across the park were incredibly helpful and friendly.
