We did the MINI Plant Tour, it was excellent. The tour is really interesting and informative. Ben was a great guide and involved all tour participants. The small museum is a really good addition but the visitor centre could do with a better shop area to purchase merchandise. Overall, it was a brilliant couple of hours and superb value for money. Very highly recommended for MINI fans.

took my son for the Mini Factory visit, we both loved it. Out host was amazing, an ex worker and extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Fascinating to see up close how the production line works. Robot city of course but plenty of human activity too. Loads of facts about different aspects of the plant, a great experience.

This is our fourth time at the MINI Plant Oxford, bringing our MINI owners from the Philippines to witness how their MINIs are made. Each visit feels special, and we are always thrilled to see the excitement on our customers’ faces as they experience the production process firsthand. The plant staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome every time. It’s truly a memorable experience that deepens our connection to the MINI community.

The Mini Plant in Oxford is a great place to come for a immersive tour led by a tour guide. You will get on a few mini buses at some points to get around the huge plant. When on the tour you can be as close as 2 meters from live, operating robots assembling cars in front of you.

When I went on 28/05/2024, it was operating and we got to see where they weld the body together called the 'body in white' to 'final assembly' where they fit all the centre components like dashboards, engines, windows etc. In between the two plants, there is the painting centre, but visitors are sadly not able to see this. To fully experience it, you must go see it yourself as I cannot explain it fully in this review.

You get to see everything from sparks being flown everywhere to thousands of apprentice working on unique cars. Just bear in mind this is a WALKING tour, so I recommend to bring comfortable footwear. Also phones are not allowed, which is why I don't have many pictures.

Thanks to Donna for being our amazing tour guide with 42 years of experience!

If you're an engineer, someone interested in cars, or even remotely interested in technology, this is the tour for you!

I'm currently studying engineering and went on this tour after looking for some factory tours online, now I can't recommend it enough, I'm in England for 2 weeks and this will probably be one of the highlights. While you're waiting for the tour, the museum is worth taking a quick walk through.

Big props to our tour guide for previously being involved with the factory (and the company, for that matter) and having some fantastic insight into the goings of different processes and history.

I feel like at least some of my thirst for knowledge has been satiated.

A great tour with good insight on how Minis are built. Our female guide was extremly knowledgeable & had worked in & around the plant for 42 years! A thoroughly recommended factory tour with a history museum Morris/Mini.
