Was an amazing experience would totally recommend coming to have a tattoo done here the staff & team was very friendly & had amazing conversations & would definitely want to come back here again they took there time & gave breaks when needed & would play music while you have your tattoo done, I don’t having anything to fault about this place & is very reasonable with the prices.

I went to Faye for a bottomless tattoo session and I'm absolutely in love with the tattoos she gave me. The staff were really friendly, clean and made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I definitely recommend and will be going back again! 🙂

This was my second visit 10 years apart. I lost my mum and dad nearly two years ago in the space of 3 months of them both . So I had a special tribute tattoo that I wanted for them both . Lee and Faye completed between them and did an amazing job which my mum and dad would have been proud. Thank you again Tony

I came for a tattoo at Mind Over Matter, I pre paid the sessions as I had it to hand I highly highly wish I hadn’t now!

Lee went over a tattoo I already had a dragged it out for half a days worth of work which needed the slightest touching up at most. I came home and there were still bits missing from it I had later realised hadn’t been done. Which was a £250 session gone. I then came back as I thought I’d give him the benefit of the doubt for the second session bear in mind he told me it would be completed! I paid £250 for the next session Lee didn’t do very much of and his apprentice did most of the mapping for £250 by an apprentice! It still isn’t complete as you can see below which has affected 1 my confidence and 2 my mental state/ wellbeing.

I decided to message Lee and have it out with him. He said he doesn’t work for “Free” and it would be another £500 to complete I have all the messages stating this. He then made me feel extremely bad and guilty because he has had a stroke guilt tripping me so I didn’t message him again. Please don’t take someone’s hard earned money if you can’t do the work? He then offered me another half day session to try and make amends for the 10th June which is today the work still won’t be completed as he promised it would it “2 Sessions” and I’ve lost £500 down the drain.

Now as an Autistic and vulnerable adult myself I didn’t go to sleep last night, I spent the night having panic attacks and getting extremely worked up and distressed because I don’t like any bad vibe or tension. Lee has already lied to me on multiple occasions one being my original piece would be completed in 2 sessions and 2 he was hiring an apprentice he gave me all this false mental belief he would help me achieve my dream being a tattoo artist then shattered me blaming me arguing over my tattoo for the reason he wouldn’t hire me.

All I ever wanted in this process is my money back to go somewhere else to fix it properly… not push and shove me into a shop to go back.

Now as an Autistic person I like to take someone with me, Lee was extremely difficult about this when I had already spent the night getting extremely worked up and distressed.

I think if we all look below we will all agree it’s not good. I’ve asked 3 other artists all in agreement it’s not worth its money and to get a refund he wouldn’t give me one. He was and still is adamant he won’t give me any money back.

It was my first time at the studio and first time being tattooed by Faye, it certainly won’t be the last. Faye was quick to respond to messages, made me feel at ease and left me with some beautiful tattoos. Overall very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend! 💚

Came here for my first tattoo. They were amazing through and through. Quick response from them, listened to what I wanted and made sure that I was happy with the design before going ahead. Caitie talked me through the process as she was doing it and gave thorough aftercare instructions which was very reassuring. They even checked in with me afterwards to ensure everything was healing correctly. Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend!

I recently started getting tattooed by Caite and I can honestly say that I would not want to go anywhere else for my tattoos! Not only are they all so professional, but they have created such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the studio🫶🏻 Caite has also done such a good job of my tattoos and not only is her work incredible, but she is so good at making you feel comfortable and at ease during the appointment!
