A wonderful location, great for couples and families. 10 min ferry over, a place to hire bikes to cycle to location and round the island. Spectacular views of Aran. Great for walking too. The beaches are lovely and has that seaside town feel. There are shows/rides for kids, crazy golf and nice cafes too.

A group of us rented a static this bank holiday weekend as part of a scuba diving weekend. The caravan itself was lovely and clean and relatively modern. It was well appointed with good clean cooking utensils enough to cater for most groups. Our only gripe with the van is the shower has very little water pressure, so showering can take a while! The site itself is very well presented and whilst we didn't really have a good look around as we were out early and back late, what we did see was in good order and well kept. ||||The one thing that did stand out was the superb service we received here. The owner is wonderfully pleasant and helpful. We had booked three nights, leaving on the Monday. As divers, it's nice to have the option of going back to the accommodation to get showered off and packed without rushing so you're not all salty and crusty on the drive home. Some places we've stayed have been overly restrictive demanding we be out straight away etc. Not here. Nothing was too much trouble and we were welcome to come and clean up and pack at our own speed. Perfect!||||As it happened, due to the shocking weather this weekend, we left a day early. However again or expectations were exceeded when we were informed that as we'd only stayed 2 nights out of the three we'd booked and paid for, we've one in hand next time we visit! Now seriously, how many times has that happened? ||||To say we will be back goes without saying. The island is beautiful as is the area and if you're looking for good clean accommodation with outstanding service to boot, then look no further. Highly recommended.

Very peaceful and the scenery is fantastic. Played a round of golf on the beautiful golf course just 400 yards up the road. The staff at Millport golf club were very helpful and polite. Some nice local pubs for a bite to eat also. The trip on the ferry to Millport is quick (10 mins) and the view is breathtaking. Hope to get chance to go again and play the course. There is also fly fishing which now I know I think the rods will go along with the club's.

Millport itself is a wonderful place to stay. Hire bikes & cycle round the island. Millport caravan park, will NOT be staying there again, mirror cracked, mattresses the springs were sticking out, and the shower that was dangerous had s mind of it's own, kids couldnt get s shower, hardly any pressure from hot water in sinks and shower and when you thought the temp was ok it changed itself. If I was staying here for a week I would have demanded another caravan. Gabrielle was nice on arrival but couldnt take your money quick enough then off. I tried to ring her to say about the shower but couldnt get hold of her and no return call. Caravan was spacious though in lounge with 2 toilets. Fire was not working heaters were left. This caravan site falsely advertises also the caravan we were in definitely not luxury and def no scenic views. They only want your money then your left. Please be careful with shower if your in top site no. 24... no curtains just blinds. Very small television with freeview. Already looked into another caravan site in millport which has good reviews.

We travelled from Australia to visit family and did 2 caravan holidays on the trip. One was at St Andrews and all was great - great location; service; caravan was clean and modern, came with linen & incredible views! ||Then came this one at Millport! The only thing this site has got going for it is the island - which is beautiful . Although have to mention there are other sites on the island with great views.||||There was zero communication following the booking (which was months before) - to the point we were concerned that when we turned up we wouldn't have a booking.||||Eventually managed to speak with the manager of the site on the day of the booking! ||||No reception service, basically turn up at caravan and caravan door was left unlocked and keys left inside. We had to find our own caravan on the site! ||||No-one available to provide an overview of site or local attractions/amenities.||||On entering the caravan became aware that there was no linen - you could basically see the basic wooden structure of the beds. We called to ask about linen and were told that there was none - we asked what were we supposed to do when we had travelled so far with 4 children. We were then advised that linen could be provided.....at the cost of 100 pounds for a 2 night stay!!!! Ridiculous.||||Made even more ridiculous when we actually got the linen......old; dirty sheets (sorry to even say this but one had nose snot on it). We called again to have them replaced and more linen came - but not the amount we needed for all the beds....so again we had to ask for more linen which we were told would be another 20 pounds! No apologies for delivering dirty linen. We believe this linen was probably pulled out from an old cupboard unused for some time.||||The attitude of the manager at this site is deplorable. All she was interested in was money.||||The only saving grace to this stay was that we had great family and that we have a positive outlook - so we decided not to let it ruin our holiday and had a great time on the island.||||Would we visit this site again? No way!

The last review is accurate. Tom and Gabrielle are superb site managers and very helpful. The van is clean and well appointed. The island superb and great for families. We have now been 3 times in the last six years and the quality and friendship will keep us coming!

We rented from a private owner recommended by the park management. Shower tray was cracked and leaky and past it's best. Wee blacks flies in the shower room. Damp smell which was in the back bedroom as well. Lots of air fresheners which masked the smell on arrival. Did not feel clean. Common shower block and laundry not cleaned regularly and showers were terrible. Having paid £375 for a week we were disappointed. Next time would inspect on a day trip to make sure of adequate quality and value for money.
