We took our son (he's 11) for the half-day flying experience for his birthday present. Everything ran like clockwork & the day was perfect ? We arrived at the specified time (which was prior to public opening) & were greeted by the friendly & enthusiastic staff. We had paid for my son's experience & the rest of the family (X3) to supervise & spectate. The itinerary for the day was clearly explained & we were taken to the flying field where those taking part in the experience were issued with their gloves. It was a group of 10 but nobody was left out & all were made to feel welcome. My 11yo was the only child in the group but was made to feel just as welcome & relevant as everyone else. Harry led the experience & was just amazing: he is very funny & included everyone. He is so knowledgeable & clearly cares deeply about each & every one of the birds. He talked about every bird that was flown so my son learnt lots which added to his day. Everyone was given equal time with the birds & again although the smallest member of the group my son was not forgotten & was given his turn; he was never overlooked or made to feel less important & Harry made his talk relevant & kindly answered my son's questions. Over the course of the experience my son flew 10 birds & fed the storks. The price also included all day entry so during breaks & after the experience we were able to look around at the other birds & animals. It's a lovely little place, well worth a visit. I can't thank everyone enough for giving my son a birthday (& a day full of memories) he'll never forget.

Came here for a junior zookeeper experience with my son and it's a fabulous place to visit for at least a whole day. The array of birds and other animals on show (and to handle/feed if you've bought the experience ticket) is amazing; from wallabies to meerkats to snakes and of course a bit of falconry! Our hosts were extremely knowledgeable and informative and sometimes even the parents got to have a little 'go'.

The only areas of improvement I could suggest are the signage (for example, where to find the toilets!) and better info on the website to tell you what else is on site. An example here is that there is no indication that Wildside is actually located on a huge estate with a garden centre, restaurant, outdoor kids playground, picnic area, fairground-like attractions and the like -- we had brought our own sandwiches because I couldn't see any info like the above.

That aside, really great place to spend the day and the zookeeper experience is well worth the ticket price which can be subsidised through various 3rd party websites like Virgin Experiences and the like.

Millets farm is ideal for families picnics. It comes with a garden centre, plenty of *free* parking space, well maintained open spaces, and very nice canteen. Kids will love to run around the play ground. Those who enjoy a walk along the river Ock, Phoebe's Wood is few yards away. A great place for family outing.

Nice walk around a couple of fields with a Harris hawk for company! We all got to fly him a number of times, great fun. Then back to watch the birds working in the arena ?

My partner and I had a 2 hour falconers experience booked and it was amazing! Highly reccomend as alongside this experience you have the rest of the wildlife centre included which was so fun, we spent all day here from 10 to 5 and had an excellent meal in the farm centre restaurant ❤️

We had the best time on our experience. Our guide was absolutely amazing, and you could tell she absolutely loved the animals and had an amazing knowledge of them all. If you fancy doing something different, this is definitely worth every penny. There is plenty of free parking, and the experience ticket gets you your entry into the park, so you can stay as long as you want. All the team members we met were friendly and helpful all in all a great few hours. There is also a garden centre and farm shop on site.

A great all in one location for lunch, pick your own, mini zoo (mainly birds), garden centre and farm shop. The lunch options were refreshingly good, with nice adult and kids options. The branding, signage and layout are all well considered. The zoo, maize maze and PYO are all charged for separately. The PYO had some of the best strawberries we've seen at and pick your own farm. Well worth it and the kids loved the experience. The zoo I would say is a little over priced for what you get. Even if you take your time going around and watch the bird show you'd be hard pressed to spend more than 90 minutes. But still with visiting millets.

Also the ice mango teas are lovely.
