Love, love, LOVE Mill on the Brue. Both my daughters have had the best and fun filled weeks here. Sadly our older daughter was too old to return this year but our younger daughter has just returned for the third year and came back so happy. Thank you Mill on the Brue - brilliant activities, stunning setting and amazing staff.

My kids had an absolute blast during their week’s summer camp. Despite only being 8, they didn’t experience any homesickness, bonded with kids of all ages and stuck in to a packed schedule of brilliant fun. They returned home with a real vigor + a stench that takes a few washes!. Highly recommend Mill on The Brue. It’s run by a wonderful team and set in a beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be sending our kids again next year.

Fantastic place, fantastic staff - love Mill on The Brue!
Independent, ethical, dependable.
Low food miles, tech free, character and resilience focus in beautiful deepest Somerset.
AND the bonus of a beautiful bottle of wine from home grown grapes when you pick up your child.
Mine has returned for summer camps every year since year 3 - and absolutely loves it (and won't ever go back to ### the 3 letter competition).
Thank you MoTB - long may you keep doing your thing!

Went there last week, had a great time, people were really nice and the activities were really fun, my bed was a bit squeaky but I still slept nicely and the coronation chicken was amazing. My instructors, Emily and Huw ( badgers week 5 summer 2024) were the best and they honestly need a raise. If I could rate this place 6 out of 5 I would.

My autistic son attended just for the day (his classmates stayed for 3 days.) He loved the activities, however I had a very unpleasant and upsetting experience with the owner when I arrived at the premises to collect him.

I parked in the allocated parking area 5 minutes before my meeting time with my son and his teacher. A woman parked next to me and then banged on my window to inform me that I was on private property and needed to leave immediately. I explained that I was collecting my child, to which she demanded that I turn off my car, fetch my son and leave the property as quickly as possible. She identified herself as the owner.

I then observed her approach a gardener working on the property nearby, and point me out, which felt intimidating and unnecessarily hostile.

To my knowledge, I had every right to be where I was and remain mystified as to why this person felt entitled to treat me with such contempt and aggression.

Having paid over £100 for my son to attend just for the day (no meals, transport or accommodation) I felt really upset by the experience. What a shame that parents of special needs children are treated this way by a business targeted at children.

This is the second year my children attend MOB and they couldn’t be happier. We live in Spain and it was their first summer camp and I am guessing it’s going to be their last because they want to come back every year! Thank you for everything!

A fantastic place to visit for activity camps. We booked as a group with parents and children to make up for them missing their Y6 residential. It was fantastic. Kyle and Katherine were brilliant at encouraging the children and organising the activities. The site is well set up. Tents are available for 2 or up to 4 people although you could fit 5 at a squeeze. The 'lambing barn' provided shelter and a fridge/electric points. Washrooms and toilet blocks are next to the camping field. Would benefit from a sink in the lambing barn. Kids had an awesome time, thank you!
