Mill Meadow - Eco Holiday Lodges with Hot Tubs and Private Lake - Taunton

We Stayed the weekend in Goldcrest lodge for 2. Beautiful scenery, cosy lodge with everything you need. The hot tub and BBQ was an added bonus. The lake for fishing was great for us. Great location with a 10 minute walk to local pub. Suzanne the host was so helpful and even left us welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, homemade flapjacks, apple juice and a bottle of Prosecco for my birthday was so thoughtful. Highly recommend.

We had a brilliant time staying at Mill Meadow in Kingfisher lodge. The complex is very peaceful, well maintained and a very relaxing place to stay. Also very well located for days out with the family (we stayed with a 5 year old and 9 month old), with lots to do in the local area.|The on site fishing lake is great and the lodges were really nice. The hot tub is a great addition and we used it a lot with our 5 year old who loved it.|Chris and Suzanne are great owners/hosts, good communication in advance and really helpful and friendly, always looking to go the extra mile to ensure you have the best stay with them.|Having stayed in Somerset a few times now this has been our favourite place to stay. We certainly could have stayed longer than a week and will be back.

WOW ? fantastic stay at this beautiful resort. We stayed in " flycatcher ". Its simply stunning. All 6 of us loved it and would happily come back. We stayed mon-sat. It went too quickly. It was immaculate ( thank you Helen ) , the hot tub was tended twice day by the lovely Chris I think his name was. Upon arrival , we were greeted with anniversary bunting , fresh flowers in a vase , a bottle of prosecco and a signed card for our anniversary. A really lovely touch by the owners ( Nicky and apologies for the other owner , I don't remember the name ). Gorgeous home made flapjacks from Chris ?. We met Joe , so basically a lovely team running the site. The owners take great care with this property. It's a very comfortable lodge , with all the kitchen tools , barbecue etc. The rooms are spacious , bathrooms are lovely too. Cannot fault this lodge.

Stayed here for May half term and had selected the accommodation for the accessible facilities/wheelchair access. The location is perfect, tranquil and serene. The site is picturesque. Suzanne and Chris could not be more welcoming and the lodge (Woodpecker) was a really high specification which had everything and more you could ask for. Lovely welcome pack on arrival as well. We need some extra equipment to help with a disabled party member and Suzanne had everything we needed and offered more as well which was fantastic. We also loved the eco-focus of the site and all the tips around to help you in your stay as well. Im not sure all the lodges have accessible facilities or not but contact Mill Meadow and they will help you with whatever they can. Honestly this place is really great and would highly recommend anyone staying here - we will be back.

Had a lovely couple of days here at the beginning of August. The weather was on our side and we were able to make the most of the lovely Taunton countryside based at the Mill Meadow cosy two bed lodge. The hot tub and lodge facilities were great, as was Susanna's support in helping us arrange some activities. Thank you for a great getaway!

Our getaway at Mill Meadows was lovely. Staying in the cosy 'Goldcrest' lodge, it was a great base for exploring what Taunton has to offer. Suzanne was very helpful in helping us arrange a pilates session and massage, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting Hestercombe Gardens. Thank you for a great trip.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kingfisher lodge in Mill Meadow! The staff was really welcoming, friendly and supportive. The site is just beautiful and very family friendly with the lake and the different lodges. We highly recommend the fishing lesson with Martin, especially for families.
The lodge is very cosy, clean and perfectly accessible with the manual wheelchair.

We have recently returned from our 5th visit and Mill Meadow never dissapoints.

Over many years I think we have certainly tested a selection of the lodges to be able to say this is an excellent holiday experience.

It feels like coming home and Suzanne and Chris couldn't be more helpful, accommodating and enthusiastic about the beautiful place they and their team have created.

Such a relaxing holiday with everything you could want.

A delightful 10 days ...already looking forward to our next visit.
