We went to view a house all went well staff was great , we then applied and put a holding deposit down. Unfortunately we didn’t get the house however when asking for the deposit back we was told we would get it back in a couple of days . When I phoned up a couple of days later this was said again this continued for a week and a half with no joy . After a week and a half we was told that they didn’t know why we hadn’t had back yet and that they were going to get on it Again having to wait . Please be careful when giving these guys a holding deposit as you may as well kiss it good bye

After 6 years of living in 2 different properties rented by Martin & Co I have to say a massive THANK YOU! Very friendly, approachable, helpful, understanding, responsive and professional staff, especially Emily and Mia (Newark branch) as they were mainly in charge of my property. Great and effective communication, good manners, kindness and professional approach from the start to the end of my experience. No issues with deposit at the end. Very good maintenance service as well, all issues were resolved quickly, never left me waiting or with no response at all.
