Me and my family have been hiring yachts from Martham boats for 40 odd years. I highly recommend this family run boat yard. Beautiful traditional broads yachts and motor cruisers with very helpful and welcoming staff.

My daughter and I had a great day sailing one of the ‘nut’ class half-deckers last week.
The people at Martham Boats are friendly and supportive. One of the team (his name has slipped my mind - apologies) helped us rig the boat and put in a reef, which we glad of, given the moderate breeze which freshened as the day wore on. At the end of the day, the same team member spotted us coming in and kindly helped us to put away the boat. The security deposit was returned very quickly.
This was our third consecutive year hiring from Martham Boats. In our experience, the boats are well maintained, nicely set up and go well on all points of sailing. We fully expect to hire again in 2025.

Outstanding service, friendly, helpful, lovely boats, beautiful surroundings. We have been hiring family boats here for over ten years, this boat yard go above and beyond to help us have a memorable experience every year, they are like a big family looking out for everyone. Hired one of the half-deckers for a day's sailing with the family this week. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our first time on a half-decker, was a little anxious about the rigging so was thankful for the excellent help, advice and assistance from Tony in setting up for sail and again on our return, putting away the boat. We found it was easy access up to Hickling Broad and good route to get a feel for the boat. Lovely people, great day, look forward to doing it again.

We hired sailing yacht 'Scarlet Lady' for a week and it was perfect. Excellent vessel and well equipped with all we needed. I was also very impressed with the booking and customer service. I'll definitely be back.
