This is a beautiful family friendly site with stunning views. The site and facilities are kept immaculate by the wardens who go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home and are always available to answer queries. Would recommend to anyone.

Hadn't stayed here before so wasn't sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely clean site with access to the wonderful coastal path. You can walk from here into Carnforth or, in the other direction, to another Holgates camp site which has a dog friendly pub on site. The facilities at Marsh House were spotlessly clean and the other big bonus, the sunsets are incredible.

First visit to Marsh House and will definitely be back. Greeted by the park wardens and guided to our pitch (which was a great size). All the information you needed was given on arrival inc WiFi code. We visited the sister site Bay View for a quick drink, a bit busy for our liking so Marsh House was perfect.
Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate and rightly have a platinum award.
Only down side is the single track road down to the site and the cars parked on the narrower section of the road before it goes single track.

Great great great place. Fantastic family park. I just can't praise this place enough. I now spend every weekend. And just love it. Wardens are more like my family and steve is like my dad. Made some fantastic friends truly lovely people.

My family and I visited Marsh House holiday park on Wednesday 21st August 2024. When we arrived, Jackie met us at reception to give us our codes and information and personally showed us to our pitch. Upon entering, we were very impressed with the scenic views, stunning landscapes and security of the site. The cleanliness can't be beaten and the facilities are second to none.

The two people who set Marsh house head and shoulders above the rest were Jackie and Steve. Steve, the warden, cam to visit us after our first night and asked if everything was ok and if there was anything he could do? At that moment there wasn't and we carried on getting ready for our morning walk.

What we didn't anticipate was the yellow weather warning that evening with 50 mile an hour gusts battering our awning all night. Although the awning stayed up, and my children were safe warm and secure in my T5, my girlfriend and I had had a terrible night. a combination of the wind and heavy rain meant that we hadn't slept and the little we did was interrupted by the drips coming though the seams and being blown through the mesh. So as to not wake our 9 year old, my partner took our 10 month old into the car to begin his bottle feed at 6.30am. At that moment, Steve appeared and asked if everything had been ok? We explained the night and he and Jackie offered one of their static caravans for a few hours to feed our children, get nice and warm and generally take shelter from the weather. We accepted and Steve disappeared to open everything and get it ready for us.

Later on, Jackie came to see how we were and said that she had been concerned about our little awning all night and that Steve and her had decided to call in as soon they started in the morning.

Whilst nipping to get some formula for my son, I witnessed a team of Holgates employees erecting and salvaging people's awning whilst being battered by the elements.

This encapsulates for me the whole feeling of the site. Not just customers but neighbours and family. Nothing was too much and a genuine care was had for all on the site.

Whilst the views are enough to come back (they truly are stunning), Steve and Jackie sets this place head and shoulders against every other campsite we have visited over the years.

The only downside is that my 9 year old now wants to buy a static, so I can see a large purchase in my future!

First seasonal pitch at Marsh House Farm and what a 'gem' the site wardens Steve and Jacky are lovely and from day one made us feel really welcome - the site is exceptionally well kept - the toilet block and other facilities spotless - Steve and Jacky the Wardens are a credit to the Site Owner!!

We had difficulty getting booked on a site in carnforth but marsh house managed to fit us in for our very rare, 4 day ,quiet get away from the kids ... we were greeted at the gate by a lovely lady who opened the barrier and showed us to our pitch. She was very informative and helpful. The pitches were a nice size and the whole site was immaculate and nicely laid out. The views around the site are gorgeous and we enjoyed some of the many walks around the area, the site backs onto the beach too. we noticed there was a large playing field and play area (swings) for kids and they seemed to be having fun riding their scooters etc along the long tarmac pathways..their seemed to be great consideration for dogs who are welcome on site ,all the pitches are gravelled and separated by fencing and plants, a nice touch... we really enjoyed our stay, thankyou so much, we will return 😊
