Camped in Dulverton again for Whitsun this year and HAD to walk through the woods (it's the law!!) to this lovely, small, quirky tearoom (all tables are outside). |There were 4 of us and we all had a cream tea (plus cake!) and it was all fresh and delicious. You get offered extra jam and cream but what was supplied was more than enough. It was our friends first time in Dulverton and they wanted to go back the next day and have another cream tea!!|We didn't but will do next year when we are all back in Dulverton. |Sitting in the sunshine, listening to the birds and the river, whilst eating a cream tea is heaven!!

Visited for tea and cake on our walk out. Second time been here. Lovely place to stop and refresh with a cuppa and cake, also other food available. Lemon drizzle cake today was best we’ve ever had! Super surroundings, peace and total tranquility. Highly recommend.

We stopped in to taste the traditional Devon cream tea. Definitely not disappointed! Lovely family-run business, generous portions, amazing scones, perhaps the best I have ever had! Made our day. Based in a beautiful surrounding, so one can go for a stroll down the river afterwards

In current times, let’s face it a traditional Cream Tea is an indulgence. So if you must, you want it “done proper” This transported me back to my youth, when Cream Teas were commonplace. You won’t be disappointed. Nice matching china and cutlery. Generous bowls of jam and clotted cream, and delicious warm scones to die for. £7.50 well spent. Please support this lady, this art could soon be lost and forgotten. And this is Somerset (just) so you can have jam or cream first. Let Cornwall & Devon continue the debate.

We first discovered this gem 3 years ago when driving past after an afternoon on the glorious Molland Common. On that occasion we were delighted to find somewhere open at 5 o'clock. This time it was even later after 5.30. Can never understand why so many tea places shut as early as 4pm.|We sat outside in the beautiful garden close to the River Barle and watched the birds on the feeders. We had a generous pot of tea and two lovely slices of lemon drizzle cake. A delightful end to a wonderful holiday on the moors.

We walked here from the campsite in Dulverton just for a cream tea after reading the reviews on here and we weren't disappointed.|Lovely tables sat outside with just the sound of the birds and the river.|Ring the bell for service.|Home-made scones that melted in your mouth, with a large amount of clotted cream and jam. You can ask for me if you need some too!|Lovely brew too, just what we needed after a walk.|£6.95 for a cream tea, but 2 scones so we shared!|

Stopped off here for a cream tea after an epic muddy walk. Truly wonderful scones, the best we have sampled for YEARS! Hugely generous helpings and just the thing to revive the systems after a day’s walk. Very friendly and hospitable. Thoroughly recommended.

Delicious homemade scones and cakes just perfect for walkers for a nice break and cream tea. It was one of the best scones I’ve had across Devon/Somerset. We got there and the place seemed closed but Carole, the host, quickly came to our aid. She was extremely friendly and we had a great time enjoying the outdoor seating, good value too!
