Toilets very clean. Can't comment on anything else as not open on the day we visited (Monday in late Sept).
Note for cyclists; tarmac surface of the trail in very poor state of repair in some (lengthy) sections. Robust tyres essential.

The tea room is lovely, run by lovely people. Breakfast sandwiches, tea, coffee and what looks like homemade cakes. They sell other stuff but I don't have a list of what.

Brilliant place for a bike ride , you can start at here or the other end approximately 8 miles away at manifold valley cycle hire by waterhouses just off the A523 . In between both ends there are various parking places where you will see families riding and walking with their little ones just doing a small portion of the trail .
There is a pub around the middle of the trail which runs by a lovely running stream , it was very busy but everyone seemed very happy and the kids were playing in the water which was nice to see .
Also approximately half way through the trail is a large rocky hill which you can walk up and it has a huge cave entrance ,we didn't go up but could see lots of people at the top who looked tiny next to the massive cave .
Anyway this trail is superb on a sunny day whether you want to walk or cycle and thoroughly recommend it ?
