Cute little cruise on the canals. You learn a lot of the history of Manchester as it is deeply connected to its canals. Very nice as an adventure too as you go under the small bridges so close you can touch them. You can sit on top of the boat, have a beer and watch the city go by for an hour. If the weather is good its a must. If not, its probably not that good of an experience

We took the Manchester City River Tour and it was an awesome experience for us.

I would highly recommend taking this ride. Even if you know the city very well, the ride would provide a great experience in between the river and some good photography spots.

Had a nice tour, narrator pointed out some interesting parts about the canals and the Industrial Revolution. Hot and cold drinks are served onboard. Two toilets are available, which were clean and well-stocked
