Beautiful cathedral. I had the pleasure of catching evensong there. Lots of historical records of the Manchester Regiment including the old colours. I was surprised to see the DEI statement at the entrance to the cathedral, thinking the Church of England had always strived to be inclusive

I am doing a course near the Cathedral. I was given a 30 minute tour of it and the cathedral has alot of history dating back 3 to 4 centuries. The building has survived the 2nd world war and inside the roof is 104 feet high. Open to all visitors that come from all over the world.
I will leave any further information for those that are curious to find out.

Very interesting, the part of the 14th century 'Hanging Bridge' that's visible is worth seeing. The shop is not as commercial as some, books and gifts are much more religion orientated, but it is a cathedral gift shop!
