A wonderful visit to Mama Doreens in Harrogate with our 9-Year old daughter, we were warmly greeted and enjoyed the "Friends Themed Afternoon Tea" which was amazing & wonderfully inventive! The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed & our daughter enjoyed her children's version of the afternoon tea - and was excited to receive her sweety bag at the end! We couldnt eat it all - so boxed the rest & took it home. All-in-all a great experience & highly recommended!

Lovely!
Was a impulsive visit, but also extremely worth it, went for a little afternoon tea for our anniversary and got the option of the normal one as well as the special blossom afternoon tea

Was actually very lovely to have the option of both of so me and the partner just swapped between us what we’d like, everything is just so yummy and very well prepared, couldn’t fault it at the staff will lovely and attentive told you everything that was on there and their recommendations too!

Absolutely brilliant! The food, the staff, the atmosphere - WONDERFUL! We we were originally booked in for lunch but arrived half hour early and were happily offered the brunch menu, which we were thrilled about. I'm glad we decided to get the brunch as it was AMAZING! The staff were great, really lovely and helpful. It was just a great experience all round. We will certainly be going back and recommending to friends.

Dreadful service! Ordered tea for two glass of water each an a cake each. Water did not come and had to ask for cakes after tea came with nothing else. Cake icing was good but the cake itself was heavy and dry possibly from the cool fridge effect. Come on guys back to home style please and great service you can and should be doing so much better than this was so looking forward to giving you a try but would struggle to come back based on today 😞

What a gorgeous restaurant with friendly staff. Beautifully decorated inside with balloons and flowers. We visited for afternoon tea but there's a separate menu with other choices. Food was fresh and tasted good. Couldn't eat it all but that's no problem they gave us little takeaway boxes. And I loved the deserts. Who doesn't like sparkly strawberries 😂. I much preferred this over Betty's. Great atmosphere, would highly recommend you try this out. I'll definitely be back again. My daughter would love it here. Something special for a birthday with a group of friends.

We had an amazing time having afternoon tea today! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and showed us to our tables. We loved the ambience and the cuteness of the tearoom! There were plenty of choice if you didn’t want afternoon tea, plus they had vegan and gluten free options too. Our afternoon tea arrived quite quickly and the presentation was beautiful and inviting! We savoured every mouthful and enjoyed someone’s work in the preparation!
We also went to the cake counter afterwards and purchased 6 cupcakes to take home! Will definitely return again soon!!

Absolutely amazing afternoon tea at Mama Doreen’s! Service was brilliant as soon as we arrived to the moment we left. One of our party required a gluten free option and their sandwiches and cakes were some of the best they had tasted. A massive thank you for going the extra mile with the birthday cupcake. Highly recommended and we will be back.

All staff were nice and friendly, and quite a pleasant cosy atmosphere which was nice. Service was quite quick, and the tea’s were nice with some delicate flavours. We decided to have afternoon tea, and it was presented nicely, and couldn’t fault it much. Just one or two bits of it wasn’t to our taste, but that’s more us than product quality. We’d go again, and certainly get a good range of deserts with it! All well priced too
