Really upsetting and frustrating experience. Avoid!!!

We pre-booked (months in advance) a taxi for our friends wedding. The taxi showed up 20 minutes late after they told us they took another booking before us (there was no proactive communication on their part - we had to phone them). At this point it was very late with the event due to start in 15 minutes. The car arrives, picks us up, and proceeds to break down in the middle of nowhere. We had to run back to our accommodation to drive ourselves to the venue. The car was not safe to and they should have never sent it to us.

We still had our booking for the return for 12am. The taxi arrives and it is the wrong car (not enough seats). They say they'll send another car. We wait ONE HOUR in the cold Scottish weather after the venue had shut down. No one shows up, we call multiple times and no one picks up.

At this point we call a different taxi company (Harley Taxi). They show up in less than 20 mins and drive us safely back to the accommodation.

Avoid this company, there's plenty of other options in the area!!!!

Couldn’t have had worse service if they tried!

Pre booked a taxi for an event 3 months prior to the date. On the day, they then arrived 30 minutes late with a car that then broke down in the middle of nowhere and we were forced to hitch hike back to the main road to find an alternative option. We then missed the beginning of our friend’s wedding due to their incompetence.

We decided to give them a second chance and had them pre booked to take us back from the reception at midnight, lo and behold, no taxi turns up. They stopped taking our calls and we were then outside a closed venue for an hour and a half!! In the cold Scottish weather. We called Harley taxis and they came promptly and managed to get us home - highly recommend choosing a service with them over magnum taxis any day of the week. What an utter disgrace of a company this is. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

APPAULING SERVICE – DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We had booked a taxi through Magnum Taxis months in advance to take us to a wedding. Concerned they were running late, we phoned up and they let us know they had taken too many short-notice bookings... in which for some reason, they prioritised. This meant that the Taxi arrived 30 minutes late. The driver said he was having issues with the car but this was not communicated to us (if it had, we would have made other arrangements). Despite the car problems, we were taken a few kilometres and we eventually broke down. We were forced to run back down this busy road, and hitchhike back to our BnB so that another mode of transport could be organised, meanwhile the woman on the phone from Magnum Taxis joked about the situation. We ended up missing the beginning of our close friend’s wedding, which was extremely disappointing, embarrassing and upsetting.

We had a return taxi booked for midnight, and unsurprisingly our car turned up another 30 mins late and didn’t have enough seats for our requirements as per our booking. Instead of resolving our issue and making up for the previous issue(s), we were lied to, saying another car was on the way before they started rejecting our calls and leaving us stranded out in the cold in the middle of nowhere, an hour and a half after the venue closed.

I would not recommend anybody considers using this company. A 1-star rating is too high.

AVOID.

Horrendous service. Booked for a wedding the taxi turned up late, with a fault, and the broke down.

For pick up they came with a car too small, and then didn't return with another taxi.

People I spoke to on the phones were extremely unhelpful, stopped taking our calls to find out when the replacement car would arrive, and left us stranded at midnight in an unfamiliar area. We had to use another taxi company who arrived promptly.

Do not recommend Magnum Taxis! Does not live up to its claim of “Safe and reliable Service”. Late arrivals and no shows leaving clients stuck in the middle of nowhere. Magnum Taxis ignore their phones, the clock and their customers!

Would rate lower if i could. Taxi driver managed to add about £5 to my journey by taking a detour , instead of going direct route. Knob.

Well after our booked Taxi didnt show up that we have been using for last 5mth. I won't name them. We phone up Magnum from the Minute we called service was friendly and she had a taxi to us within 10mins. The driver was pleasant,friendly. So we booked to come back with them also. Same driver really nice guy. So thank yous very much. Oh they were 80p cheaper than other ones. We be using yous again.
