Great motorcycle tour company, run more like a social club than a commercial company. Very friendly and welcoming staff but well organised. Accommodation very good quality and interesting. I've kept in touch with a lot of the customers and staff that I have met on my travels. I've always found staff happy to go above and beyond what is normally expected from a tour company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a motorcycle touring holiday.

My third organized motorcycle tour was the awesome Magellan Italy Dolemites tour! The accommodations, itinerary, and super leader Steve Edwards all exceeded expectations! I was very disappointed I was required a significant increase of deposit for my Superbike rental and limited to an older, smaller motorcycle due to my age (77). The bike was perfect and so enjoyable I am buying one!

My opportunity for a motorcycle trip came up quickly with a small window to make it happen. If I was going on a self guided tour through Europe, I had to act fast.

Leanne pulled all the details together on three weeks notice. She connected me with Superbike Rental and assisted with additional hotels and transfers. Leanne sent me a digital guidebook, I booked my flight from Chicago to London and packed my bags.

The trip was incredible! Six countries, 2300 miles in 12 days. Other than the usual challenges of solo traveling in new area, I had two big problems come up. One Eurotunnel related and one passport related.

Ben was just a phone call away, on a weekend evening no less. With his help I was able to continue this fantastic trip without worry. His attention to detail went above and beyond! Both problems were solved.

Booking with Magellan was the best thing I did. They exceeded their reputation!

I did the 21 day England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, and it was the the most EPIC adventure I have ever been on. I had one minor issue and called Magellan after hours and they were on it. Thank you Magellan Im already planning my next adventure.

We've been on three tours now, two in Europe and this year in Scotland. The routes, accommodation and places of interest are all arranged for you, cutting out all our worries and booking hassles. We've met new like minded friends and got a lot of great memories. We've joined in 3 one day rideouts during lockdown once restrictions allowed, again meeting new people and discovered new biking roads in the UK. Great company to deal with, everything is taken care of by them beforehand. We've done 3 trips so far with Magellan and already have a fourth lined up for next year. Billy Byfield has been our guide on all three tours and has been fantastic every time, nothing is too much trouble.

Well this is 2nd tour I done with magellan first up to artic circle which was fabulous trip 2nd down via Spain to Morocco 🇲🇦 also great trip to do they send you all the routes pre tour so you can load on to sat navs also if you struggle like I did they help you or will do it for you on first night both the guides on both trips have been excellent and this time my young lady got heat stroke and having the guides and the support vehicle for Morocco trip was great as she could ride in truck and also this happened on rest day and the guides went out of there way to help and had we not been able to travel next day would have sorted it all out to stay extra day in hotel over the years I done a lot of trips by myself but I have to say it nice to have the guides for me it makes less pressure as you got other there so I definitely recommend this company and I know booked my 3rd trip for Jan 2025 in South America everybody is saying this will be a trip of a lifetime so I let you know when done thanks tony baker

Trip: Canary Island Jan 2024
This was a great trip over 9 days. The guides were outstanding and could and did solve any issue brought to them. Food and Hotels were excellent. What made this tour different was that it, unlike many motorcycle tours, concentrated on the journey and not the destination. This was a rider's tour that was challenging with relentless curvy roads, steep inclines and switchbacks combined with unbelievable scenery. In my opinion, it was at least an intermediate level tour. The Spanish roads were outstanding and in 9 days I never saw gravel or dirt etc. on them and they were very grippy. I have done the Alps; I have done the Dolomites, but the Canary Island will give you more curves and hills and fabulous scenery than anything you have done before. Take the challenge and smile every time you sweep through a curve, complete a switchback and when the ride ends, a smile of accomplishment. I rode two up and we did just fine. For something different in a warm island setting complete with volcano, tropical forests, scrub brush and arid landscapes, this would be the tour.
