Do not use this company, complete scammers. We booked a ticket for my son in law who had to travel abroad as an emergency. Paid an extortionate amount, a few hours before he was due at the airport they contacted us to say the flight had been cancelled till the next day
Go home and come back tomorrow. We had travelled 150 miles to get there this was not feasible,. On checking the flights ourselves we saw that the flight was not cancelled and was showing ontime. We went to the ticket desk to find out was happening and they were deeply apologetic, no connection to this scam company at all but said despite us having a booking reference and ticket number, they had not even purchased one for us. I won't even go into their appalling customer service etc. I received a curt email saying we would receive a refund in 14 days. After all their lies, I have contacted my bank who are refunding the ticket as have seen In these reviews the saga that people have experienced trying to get a refund. Save yourself rhe headache avoid avoid avoid

I would NOT recommend LycaFly to my enemy.
They are dishonest. I wanted 3 business class tickets on Yakak… I was given the option of Lycafly as an intermediary agent.
I spoke to their agent who quoted me a price for fully flexible tickets, so I purchased them. A month or so later I called to speak to the Asian lady I bought the ticket of, only to be told she had left the job, which is a lie. I then found out that the tickets I had bought were NOT flexible at all. As a result I had to pay a hefty fee to make changes to the ticket to the lesser premium economy cabin as business class was going to cost us the price of 3 new tickets
I will never use an intermediary agent again, I would rather deal directly with the airline, at least they’ll hopefully be more honest. Save yourself the stress and heartache and don’t use these people .

Don't use this firm

We bought 5 x flight tickets before the Covid pandemic started and could not travel due to global restrictions.

Majority of the airlines fully refunded the tickets out of goodwill due to the pandemic and ours (Qatar) did too.

Lycafly instead of acting in goodwill like the rest, decided to charge us for £30 per ticket for refund for doing absolutely nothing.

The initial booking was done online and all they had to do is initiate a refund on the airline system (less than 5 mins work) as the airline would not make direct payments to us due to rules they have to follow.

My Sister had bought the same tickets for her family through another travel agent and they did not charge a single penny for the refund.

The airline took sometime to refund and Lycafly did not contact me advising the refund had been issued.
They sat on the money hoping I would forget about it.

When I contacted them 6 months later asking for an update - they informed that the refund had been received but they did not have my bank details on the system - so could not refund. (No attempt to contact me was made to get my details - they had my email, phone / address from the time of the booking - so obviously hoping I forget so they can pocket my refund)

Even after that - it took them 6 weeks to refund the money after various emails sent. (excuse was issue with the system)

Be very careful as this company owners have no morals.

Quick, easy and reasonably priced purchase of airplane tickets. They answer the phone too, with polite and helpful staff. It's the 2nd time I've used this company. That speaks for itself.

2 1/2 yrs and still no flight money returned! I have sent so many emails and just get fobbed off. £800 is alot to lose, so no choice but to go down the solicitor route. They also cheat with the prices, as much cheaper until you have no choice to call them to book it, then it flies up. So booked under stressed circumstances and regretting it every since.

After nearly a year and perseverance I have managed to get my vouchers direct from the flight operator. I have been lied to, change of flights that cost me £1300 pounds to change from April last year to October last year, copious amounts of emails to Lycafly that only told me to ring up them after asking for vouchers then told me they would apply for a refund from the Airline then told me the Airline was not doing refunds. The airline have sent me the issued vouchers from October last year. I am disgusted. I am taking the top cat to civil court to get my £1300 pounds back. The staff are only doing what they are told. I hold the top man responsible now.
