I recently rented through Lucy Properties and had an excellent experience. The properties are well maintained, conveniently located and stand out from other agencies. The agent, Amir, was by far the most responsive and attentive. He was extremely helpful and professional throughout the letting process, making everything smooth and stress-free. He continued to provide incredible support when we signed the contract and moved in. The property management service has been excellent, with any queries dealt with quickly.

My sisters and I had a wonderful two-year stay at Girdlestone Close Flats. The location was lovely, and the building, facilities, and appliances were well-maintained and regularly inspected. Whenever we needed assistance, it was easy to contact the maintenance team. Lucy Properties has a responsive, dependable, and professional staff.

The communication with the Property Managers— Mr. Amir Courdkhalag, Ms. Hannah Greenwood, and Ms. Maria Byrne, the tenancy coordinator— was consistently professional, efficient, and compassionate. Lucy Properties is truly one of the best property agencies I have encountered. Overall, during our stay, we felt very safe and well taken care of.

For a property management company, I thought Lucy Properties did a great job while I was a tenant. I mostly interacted with Emily, who was great and very responsive, but I also had an easy time organizing maintenance visits. I don't have anything but nice things to say about my interactions with Lucy.

It was a coincidence for me to find Lucy properties. However, during my stay, I have heard a lot of nice and good stories from other tenants who also rented their flats from the Lucy team. Incredible feeling of being treated like you are the most important person to them. They have never failed to meet my needs, answer my questions and even opened one day my flat, where I forgot my key inside, not letting me to pay to a locksmith on Sunday. I hope I will rent again from them, if I ever come back to Oxford.

I lived at Juxon House for about 3 years and during that time there was an almost constant issue with water leaks coming in through the roof and causing black mould and damp in many of the flats including mine. These ongoing leaks were caused by the construction of penthouses on the roof of the original building.

Lucy Properties' policy seems to be to try and patch up the leaks, re-paint over the peeling paintwork between tenancies, and leave tenants with electric dehumidifiers long term to reduce the damp and mould. I assume this is cheaper than a permanent fix.

When I asked Lucy Properties if they would be willing to pay to run their dehumidifiers they reluctantly agreed. However, they reneged upon this agreement at the end of my tenancy, and acted as though I was highly unreasonable to ask them to pay to run their dehumidifiers for them for over a year. Ultimately, I was forced to sue Lucy Properties to recover my funds.

My experience was not an isolated case. I know several other tenants of Juxon House who had to run dehumidifiers more or less permanently during their tenancies with Lucy Properties because of leaks from the roof causing damp and mould.

In my opinion Juxon House is not fit for human inhabitation, and Lucy Properties should be ashamed of itself for the way it treats its tenants at Juxon House.
