We approached Lucy some time ago with a view to using a Travel Counsellor (which we had never done before) to help arrange our Honeymoon in August 24. Previous holidays have always been booked by myself so to hand over 'my job' to someone else, especially for a special occasion was scary.

Lucy is amazing, she was never fazed by our questions (no matter how silly they may have appeared to us) and was always on hand to guide and support us. With the pressure of the wedding, getting someone else to sort out our Honeymoon has been a necessity. From helping us choose the most ideal and romantic places to travel, to how much baggage we could take, Lucy has always been there.

It's now less that 8 weeks before we leave and we are both super excited. We highly recommend Lucy and would definitely be using her services again.

e booked our pre-Christmas holiday to Barbados with Lucy Althorpe. Fabulous service before the holiday, but rarely do you rate (or should need) the service for post holiday. For us, Lucy really came into her own.
We were at the airport in Barbados loading our bags when my 13 year old son realised he had left his mobile in the cab - battery dead, we couldn't even call the phone. We contacted Lucy on our arrival who contacted the hotel only to find the cab driver had taken the phone back to the hotel (which was super - Seabreeze and highly recommend!) . Lucy contacted a guess who she had staying there and week later, the phone was back and in the hands of my son - who was absolutey delighted! I honestly never thought or expected to see it again and without Lucy intervening, wouldn't have happened. So 5* from me to Lucy, the cabbie, the hotel and the lovely lady who brought it back. Would have been much easier for them to say sorry, no can do but they didn't Hats off!

The process has overall been very smooth and I'd recommend Travel Counsellors for help planning a trip. There were times where I was dealing with two people at once and didn't know who my main point of contact was, and a few times where I had to chase for a reply to emails. But overall happy with the service.
