It was really a pleasure organizing our summer trip to Scotland with Andrew at LTR. Since the beginning of planning or trip and during the trip , Andrew was always a step ahead, hospitable, available and proactive. Also trying to cater to all our requests, until the end, makes all the difference. Even your last minute recommendations are quick and worth it, such as lunch at Kildrummey Inn for lunch was a delight. We will definitely recommend friends & family to work with you!

Our recent visit to England together with some old and some new friends was made stress-free and truly unforgettable thanks to Andrew Lloyd and his very specific planning skills. Everything was thoughtfully curated and arranged for our group from beginning to end. We visited both public and private gardens and, in many cases, received personal tours by the owners, hearing their personal thoughts on the many aspects of planning, developing and maintaining their gardens. A visit to a private vineyard was somehow made possible for our small group allowing us to enjoy, in their state-of-the-art and architecturally significant buildings, some fine local wines and learn about their groundbreaking wine making technology. Our days and nights were filled with gourmet meals, entertainment and of course a few cocktails. Nothing was missed, including some downtime to rest as well as time for those with other interests to do their own thing. This is a great way to travel, give Andrew some information about your dream vacation and destination and let him and his team do the rest.

What is so admirable about Townsend Rose is the impeccable and meticulous ATTENTION TO DETAIL, so that every last bit of a visit has been thoroughly explored and sorted out. Many vacations are exausting. Where to eat/reservations, what are the important sights, let alone hearding a crowd(may as well be cats). Being inquisitive can ware you out.
Then there is Andrew with Loyd and Townsend Rose Castles. Andrew has now led us(by the hand if needed) on four excersions. Arranging the details for relaxing in ancient European country houses. Some might think oh, dark, dank, worn out old castles. They do exist but this isn't what Andrew specializes in. These homes have been completely resurfaced. From moderen HVAC, plumbing and lighting to sumptuos furnishings and art. Don't get me started on the gardens. Oh my. Beautiful!
From dining to recreation Andrew is always a step ahead making sure all is ready for our arrival. Transportation to must see locations, Andrew knows who to call. We sit back with a cocktail knowing there is no need to worry about "what's next"
The arrangemants have been made. Just relax.
It's hard to imagine a getaway without him.
Completely spoiled is what we are.
Here's to Andrew. We will meet again.

Andrew Loyd and his crew provided a perfect holiday in a Scottish castle for my husband and me to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with our entire three-generation family of 26 people. We have traveled all over the world and used various travel agents and Andrew and his team at Loyd & Townsend Rose are exceptionally good. They are so familiar with Scotland and were able to plan an unforgettable trip for our family that was uniquely tailored to our likes and dislikes. They even went so far as to make sure we had ground floor rooms for family members that have trouble with stairs, and checked every single restaurant they suggested to make sure there were vegan options for one of our family members who has allergies. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team and will definitely use them on our next trip to Scotland!

Andrew and his team planned a wonderful trip to London and several locations in Scotland for our family. The accommodations, activities, and restaurants he suggested were top-notch. Some of the properties where we stayed were remote and unique; I doubt we would have discovered them with our own research and they were delightful! Andrew checked in with us regularly before the trip, ensuring that we had everything we needed, and we felt well cared for and looked after throughout our trip.
