We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend at Loose Reins. We stayed as a family of 4 in West Coombe lodge which was perfect in every way. The attention to detail made this first ‘glamping experience’ as a family really special. |We experienced the chilled vibes of the countryside with all the mod cons and extras we love. |Yasmin was kind enough to let our girls meet her beautiful horses which went down a treat! |Would highly recommend Loose Reins and I’m sure we will be back.

We have just returned from a last minute break at Loose Reins . |Staying in Gold Panners , one of the superbly presented cabins . |A large double bed, beautifully fitted kitchen and delightful bathroom enabled a relaxing weekend. |The attention to detail is exceptional from the contents of the cabin , to the beautiful produce in the welcome hamper , to the supplies left for our dogs . |Sam and Yasmin run an exceptionally efficient business with an enormous of amount of detail in your pre arrival email and in the brochure in the cabin . They also happen to be lovely people! |The wood fired hot tub was a delight , sitting watching the stars with a cider in hand. |Added bonus of some very beautiful horses in the paddocks in front of the cabins .|Local walk galore and a total relaxing switch off .. |Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Loose Reins .

Managed to book last minute for our family of four (kids 15/12) and dog. What a beautiful, serene place and a stunning little shepherds hut so that so comfortable. The welcome basket of local produce & treats went down very well. ||Our hut was Gold Panners which slept us all comfortably after a hot tub and bbq. Lots of lovely tips and hints from Sam and Yasmin too.||Would love to come back.

I would highly recommend Loose Reins - it’s so peaceful and quiet and in the best location. ||We stayed in Ranchers cabin, it was authentic, cosy and perfectly designed with everything we needed for a completely chilled and relaxed break. ||Our Welcome hamper was a lovely touch with fresh eggs, bread, and some sweet treats. The eco hot tub was perfect, even in April, and the veranda was lovely to sit and watch the two beauties grazing in the paddock adjoining our ‘garden’. We also had the bonus of stunning panoramic countryside views, birdsong, gorgeous twilights/sundowns and an amazing sun rise (we managed one morning!)||Yasmin and Sam were fabulous hosts and available if we needed them, (which was only one occasion when our basic Boy Scout training disengaged and we needed help to light the log burner for the hot tub). Super friendly and approachable.||Perfect escape for a. Brilliant break!

Yas and Sam have got everything right to ensure you have the best time at Loose Reins. The cabins and lodges are perfect for couples, friends, families and solo travellers looking to escape the rat race and sample a simpler life amongst the beautiful Dorset countryside. We stayed in a cabin which was really authentic (released our inner cowgirl?), it was well maintained and the eco hot tub was a fabulous addition (took a couple of girl guide attempts but Yas and Sam are always on hand to help ?)|The cabin is quaint and bijou but there was a place for everything and the bed is wider than a standard double and super comfortable. The welcome pack was above and beyond what we’ve experienced before full of essentials and treats. Special mention to the eggs laid by their ‘girls’ on the farm - so fresh and tasty.|Add to the above horses, sheep, goats, wildlife, spectacular views and stunning sunrises and sunsets and you have the perfect recipe for a brilliant time! Thank you so much, you’ll be seeing us again for sure ?

We went as a family with 3 small children and a husky over the Easter break and really loved it. It's a beautiful setting and the cabins are magical. We stayed in one of the smaller cabins and it felt like a movie set it was so well done. We squeezed ourselves in as the larger ones were all booked up but each cabin has a lovely large porch which gives you a great living area. The dog loved being able to lie outside with a view of the valley and the kids loved meeting the farm animals and playing in the hot tub. We would highly recommend it.

This place is amazing, so peaceful and quiet. The cabin we stayed in was cosy and well thought out. The eco hot tub was divine, the veranda was lovely to sit and eat breakfast and just listen to nature around us and take in the amazing view. Bed was very comfy. Welcome hamper was lovely and included fresh eggs, bread, marmalade, biscuits, crisps and a few other bits. I ordered the breakfast and bbq hampers and these did not disappoint the quality was superb. Hosts were lovely and available if we needed them, very friendly and approachable. Overall this place was just a slice of heaven for us.

This place was just what we needed. I booked it for my partners birthday as a surprise and he loved it. Beautiful cabins, we stayed in Trappers. Fabulous welcome pack. Comfiest bed I did not want to get out of and so cosy with the fire on. We had great weather for Jan so went for a nice walk and pint at the pub but then back to the cabin to relax and make the most of it. Literally only thing that could've improved our stay is a bigger cafeterie as the coffee provided was so nice....and to have a longer stay. We loved it and will be back. Thankyou.
