Didn't stay.

Live local and popped down with a friend with the kids to do the Easter trail.

Was so good to have limited electronics for the kids and games where they a tally interact with other kids.

Lovely little setup. Fab cakes! We ended up staying a few hours for lunch as the indoor area by their cafè is lovely with the sun shining on it.

There are games for the kids to entertain themselves, and more to the point that the animals are right on your doorstep. Baby piglets.... baby lambs.... rabbits. Geese... ( I think) and the lama.

Animal feed £1. Kids loved that to end up buying another bag before leaving to keep them busy.

The family who run it is very welcoming.

Pop down for a cake, cuppa n cuddle with the animals....

2nd time coming here and we will be back. Alpacas, Piglets, ponies, geese, maybe you'll be lucky to see the tanks rolling by or the gliders landing in the next field.

The games room is great, my older kids loved the ping pong and pool table, And we settled down for a nice campfire in the evenings.

Clean shower and toilet block, which are cleaned daily between 11-1 (so you won't be able to get in during this time).

Spent a couple on nights here in the second week of October. We were the only people on the site - the season obviously being over (and the weather not too great).|Lovely location with some great local walks + places to visit.|Good clean, very well kept site. Two slight negatives: |1/. There did not appear to be any hot water|and|2/. The noise of the tanks grinding around the training ground on the other side of Tout and on Tout Hill itself might disturb anyone "sleeping in"

Camped here just off season so the bar and shop weren't open so can't comment on those. But what a lovely campsite, plenty of space, great toilet, shower block and sinks for cleaning your cooking gear. Friendly staff lots of animals to see and a great base to travel around from. Many thanks for a great stay.

Our stay at Longthrons lasted for 5 days, during which the weather was consistently wet. Despite the rain, it was evident that the campsite is well-maintained, with no muddy patches on the pitches. The toilets were pristine, especially when compared to other places we've stayed, and they also had wonderful facilities for cleaning up after cooking. We were fortunate to pitch our tent right in front of the sheep, even though one of the sheep had a cold that couldn't be avoided.||Additionally, we decided to take part in the alpaca walk, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. Priced at £45 for two people sharing one alpaca, my boyfriend and I took turns walking the adorable animal. The cost was reasonable, especially when compared to similar experiences in our local area that charge around £60. The staff provided detailed information about the alpacas and ensured everyone knew how to walk them safely. We were paired with Jumanji, who was quite the poser for photos.||Despite the long 6-hour drive and the weather conditions during our arrival, we had a wonderful time and are already planning our return. We chose Longthrons due to its proximity to attractions like the Tank Museum, which was the highlight of our trip. Richard, one of the owners, also recommended a military training viewpoint that piqued my partner's interest, allowing us to witness some impressive tank exercises. His local insights were invaluable for newcomers like us. With friendly owners, a well-maintained site, and charming animals, our experience was truly memorable.

Our stay at Longthorns Farm was fantastic! The spacious pitches, cute farm animals, and delicious food from the on-site restaurant made for a perfect getaway. The family who own it are all so friendly and the facilities were good - clean toilets and showers, they even had an air hockey table which was great fun! Plus, the prices both in the restaurant and the shop were refreshingly reasonable. Highly recommended!
