Very good journey from the leisure centre to the pier. Unfortunately it disappeared after 14:00 with no notification leaving quite a few people, including elderly and disabled stranded at the pier, on one of the hottest days I've known at Cleethorpes. After half an hour of waiting we asked at tourist information and they said it was still running. Please notify people or the tourist information office if it is going to stop early or put some sort of sign up.

Brilliant fun taking a ride on the road train , driver was brilliant, friendly and great with giving out free lollies to the children on the train and superb value for money

It cost £1.50 for an adult and £1 for a child! My son also got a free lollipop and the trip took us down the seaside front to the leisure centre! We stopped on the train for the ride back and it took around 10 mins each way! The trip allowed you to just sit back and take 5 looking at everything around! My little lad aged 2 loves trains and this was perfect. The train driver was amazing also and knows customer service and interaction skills! Well done to the team! My only downside was that the right hand side had a water proof clear cover down it... would have preferred it off.

We went on the 'lolly' train twice whilst we were in Cleethorpes. We hopped on outside Pappas (the pier) and got off just behind the leisure centre. The journey isn't long but it's fun as there are so many people to wave at.
We took our dog on one of the trips (he got a his own doggy treat) and the pushchair too.
The staff are really friendly and the lollipops were a bonus for the kids - kept their tongues blue/green for hours!
Although we only got the train one way, you can get it back - it runs every 30 minutes.
